I was intent on us signing a poacher and putting him out wide. Now, I don't know. He's been terrific and Rodgers is slowly getting the best out of him.

I also loved how people implied that he needed to score in more games, how it was no good scoring all the goals in one match (ie Norwich) when in fact if you discount the Norwich games, of the 26 goals Suarez has scored for us they were scored in 25 different matches.

I don't know that we need a poacher. We obviously we need more goals but a pretty wide variety of players have scored goals from deeper or wider positions in the PL in recent years. I think signing someone of that ilk would be the best option for us (although seeing as we never have any forwards on the bench at the minute I wouldn't mind us getting two forwards in during January).

We need players that are going to fit in and play around Suarez. The way he is playing there is no way you can move him at the moment.

Exactly right. Suarez scores enough to be our main man, its the lack of goals from other areas of the pitch which are really hurting us. Torres rarely scores for Chelsea as their focal point yet they are still doing well so far this year. (although they do have mata, hazard and oscar behind him).
