How exactly does it do all these things? New fans say we won't support Liverpool because of Suarez?? I would think our league position has a much bigger effect on that. You'll find success is the reason for more sponsorship, and new markets. Not what one player does. Every major football club, and franchises in the US have had players who have had major incidents. United with Cantona,Ferdinand, Chelsea with Terry, Real with Pepe, the Lakers with Kobe and many more examples. How did it affect those teams, eh?

It affects Suarez and his own marketablility.

The effect on Liverpool as a brand is minimal. If anything Suarez puts bums on seats and in front of television and exposes LFC to the world with his football.

He is our biggest asset, our best player, the best player in the Premier League. It would be the worst business decision ever to sell him.

Stoning followed by some other medieval torture probably involving feathers and goose fat. The more painful the better in order to teach that odious foreigner a lesson.

Well that's far worse then. A premeditated biting attack designed to get another player sent off? I don't see him as being that much of a cunt.

Evra is bang out of order and should be facing a ban for his actions last night. Totally inflammatory.

Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has refused to accept Liverpool striker Luis Suarez's apology for biting him in Sunday's 2-2 draw at Anfield.

Suarez has been charged with violent conduct
It is also reported that Ivanovic and Suarez had to be separated in the tunnel at half-time before the biting incident.

Meanwhile, Brighton manager Gus Poyet believes pundits are guilty of hypocrisy in their comments on his fellow Uruguayan Suarez.

It's not what he said, it's the mocking of Suarez in the 'biting' of the fake arm in the scum's title celebrations.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
