I totally agree with him. The Defoe incident has to be the prime example for any defence. It was seen and only deemed a yellow.

Three games should be his ban as it's considered as violent conduct and that's all it was. No worse than elbowing, punching or stamping on someone all of which has been the standard punishment for other players.

There are no grounds for an excessive ban in this case. Anything more than 3 games shoild be contested. Not challenging the charge but the severity of the sanction is the right approach.

The incident was not seen by the match officials and has therefore been retrospectively reviewed. An Independent Regulatory Commission will hear the case tomorrow, Wednesday 24 April. (Via FA)"
Luis has obviously not made this decision himself (however the gutter rags choose to ignore this fact) the club would have told him how to reply

There was a prior case of racism that the FA dealt with quite leniently before Suarez so I don't expect the Defoe case to make much difference to the ****s.

I saw it mentioned that it will be written submissions to the hearing only so hopefully we get a proper legal team to write up his defence.

Isn't headbutting someone violent conduct too? Fellaini got 3 games for 2 headbutts and an elbow on Shawcross?

Surely to god it cannot be much more than 3 games for Suarez?

Smart from Luis and the club if there are actually words to the effect.
A pre-appeal of sorts. Although I'm sure Ayre has stated as much to the FA behind closed doors.
Might not work, might be worth mentioning etc.........

Let's just swap him for Andy Carroll from West Ham. Apparently he's worth about £35m.

I am praying for 3 games only as my 2 boys ( 9&11) will be totally gutted if he isn't playing against QPR. Got 3 tickets for his birthday and they are so excited, counting down the days like it's christmas.

                              Suarez is their favorite player.
