We have to appeal and take it all the way if necessary. He's clearly being victimised with the severity of the ban, even if he was/is stupid for giving them the opportunity.
I don't think it'll force him out. A front three of Sturridge, Coutinho and Sterling/Downing will cope well enough in his absence for 6 games at the start of next season, and with us standing by him as a club I think he'll stay loyal and give us another season to try and get into the CL.
If we appeal and it then fails could they then increase the ban by more games? Frivolous appeal?
Would you rather watch a league governed by an association not allowing a level playing field and ref'd by morons? I find that pretty annoying and boring to be honest
I was thinking we should join forces with the Football League and start a breakaway first divison. I reckon we could count on the likes of Villa, Wolves and Millwall to side with us.
