Given his record though can he afford another "incident" - that would be three in England, and four in total. I get the feeling if he did do something stupid in the PL again it would make his ten games look trivial. It would also scare away any other club that was interested in signing him.

I don't think it would really, at least not teams from abroad. All you're suggesting though is that we cash in while we can. That wouldn't be a very popular approach if people didn't hate him for upsetting their summer.

Not that it matters if he ends up at Madrid, as I still think is the most likely team he'll play for in September. Or October or whenever it is the FA are allowing him to play for doing the same thing as Jermaine Defoe missed no matches for.

Me three. Can’t get my head around anyone saying they would rather us do worse without him in the team than keep him here and be successful.

I wouldn't prefer to do worse but I think he will be more of a hinderance than an asset. He's already banned for 6 games, the Fa have it in for him so any further misdemeanours he's gone for another lengthy ban. Realistically he'll miss 10 games this season?

I ask myself why Chelsea are not banging on the door..

saw that interview stevie gave the impression that if a foreign club came in for suarez then he may well be sold as that tweet missed out the previous quote when asked would he stay the reply was "I dont know"

How can it be resolved though until the window closes? The club have already came out and made it clear that he’s not for sale and even if he comes out himself and says he’s staying, it won’t deter Cross from printing otherwise and certainly won’t stop him being linked with other clubs.

Because whatever's been said about him not being sold l reckon if a foreign club comes in with a decent offer he'll be gone.
