Kuyt did ok for us in his first season to be fair, second season he struggled i think. He was older, zero experience in premier league, plays completely different, slower, more physical, technically poorer. The comparison really doesn't work at all IMO.

Henderson's technique was never in doubt, just his mentality. He has improved as regards getting involved in the game and not hiding.. credit has to be given for that.. but mention of him being Gerrard's replacement is frankly ridiculous. Improved yes but still such a long way to go before he can be mentioned in the same breath as Stevie.

That's the logical move but we can't change the midfield 3 of Hendo, Lucas & Gerrard IMO. That would leave a front 3 of Suarez, Sturridge & Moses or Coutinho IMO.

I don't think so, Coutinho will play where Aspas is and Luis will play on the wing, so that means that Aspas drops to the bench

I agree, I've liked seeing that midfield playing together but I think we'll see Hendo sacrificed in some games to allow that attacking line up to play.

I'd be more inclined to sacrifice either of the other two in more attacking games as you said.
