Something else to add to my magnum opus above: I don't think Suarez quite fits in to the system Rodgers wants to play. Rodgers seems to like a striker with pace who can offer a threat playing off the shoulder (forcing defences to sit a little deeper). Suarez plays as a striker right now because he's just so ****ing good. But it would be interesting to see how he would line up this season with a fully fit Sturridge available. He'd quite possibly be played on the wing, and to be honest, I don't think we'd get the best out of him in that position. Food for thought.K ris90210

Danny AggerOriginally posted by dom9 View PostI kinda agree with that bit in bold. I have not felt any emotional connection with any footballer since Torres, and I think it's pretty unlikely that I ever will again.
Also, would just like to add that, imo, there's zero% chance Suarez will ever play for us again.

Yeah I respect him and the like, but there's no emotion there any more. I wasn't even emotionally arsed with Carra retiring.Originally posted by Maxiedge View PostDanny Agger

It shouldn't be a surprise given how many of my posts are about the the fact that I have completely fallen out of love with this morally corrupt industry, but which I still have some sort irrational addiction to.Originally posted by Sarb View PostReally? That's a surprise. I'd be gutted personally. Much more than Suarez or Torres. Best player I've ever seen in an LFC shirt.
I've cancelled all the sports channels at home, so I'll see if I can ween myself off it completely this season.
But yeah, I have total respect for Gerrard and all he has achieved.Oh I don't know.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
