There's a listen again feature on the TS website IIRC if anyone can be bothered to do so.

Thanks but listening to Talksport once is once too much.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I've never listened to it in my life. I guess I'm not missing out on much

Are we safe? No late bids? Madrid seem more than occupied with Bale. It's been beautifully quiet on this front for a while now. We've handled this superbly.

It would be irrelevant if Madrid made a bid now or not, the club wouldn't be stupid enough to sell at this stage, with 3/4 days to go in the window there is simply no way we could identify, attract and negotiate deals with the 2/3 players it would take to replace Luis.

              Torres did it.

Those that killed her, were following the law.

Yeah and we gave in to Torres, let him go and made a disastrous panic buy of 35 million pounds which the club is still feeling the effects of. Everything FSG and Brendan have said would suggest we've learnt our lesson about selling our best players late in the window.

yeh, but its not like it made us turn to panic buying

That's why it won't happen again.

How are we still feeling the effects of the Carroll deal? He's been sold and some of the outlay has been off set and we received 15m more from the Torres sale. Its over now.

I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                            Mine angry and defrauded young?
