The way he won that freekick was cheeky. His brain is so quick he knew the defender was going for it and put himself in the way before the defender got to the ball to win the freekick.
That's what people mean by manufacturing fouls. He doesn't simulate, he's actually fouled but he makes it happen. Quite above board and managers don't like it because it's perfectly legal. Was muß, das muß.

And with the form he is in there is a very good chance once fouled he will score - be honest most people are now more surprised when he does not score than when he does.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostThe way he won that freekick was cheeky. Yeah. Didi Hamann was always excellent at doing similar. In a seemingly hopeless situation - win himself a free kick.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostThe way he won that freekick was cheeky. Didi's the best I've ever seen at winning a freekick when in a tight spot.

Yeah if we were winning in stoppage time with a minute left and Didi had the ball you know it was safe!Originally posted by Shaggy View PostYeah. Didi Hamann was always excellent at doing similar. In a seemingly hopeless situation - win himself a free kick.
Though the best one was winning that free kick near our goal v Arsenal then Mellor ended up scoring seconds later! What a day that was.

In fact, Luis would be better off dribbling back out of the area when he's closed down.......far more likely to get a decision, with just as good a chance of scoring.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostAnd at the moment it's almost as good as a penalty!

More of a pain tolerance for him as it's just severe bruising. A muscle injury is an entirely different matter.Originally posted by Liverpool View PostWas it not a bit daft playin against Hull if his injury was that bad, we'd be livid if he made it worse and was out for a while. Wasn't Moyes issue more with running RVP into the ground with his new training methods (run ****er run!) introduced into utd, rather than continuing with the methods used at Arse and utd under Bacon face ?Originally posted by Liverpool View PostWas it not a bit daft playin against Hull if his injury was that bad, we'd be livid if he made it worse and was out for a while. Truly remarkable and resiliant player, the Iron Man if you will.Originally posted by Chazza View Post
I don't think he missed a single game due to injury since he made the switch and he played 112 games for us thus far..Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club
