I hadn't seen that. Made me feel as awestruck as that kid interviewing him. I almost blubbered just listening to him. :tearintheeye:

I've mentioned it in a different thread, but it's worrying to think about what impressions the last 2 windows have had on Luis.

With our seeming inability to get deals for top class players over the line, you do wonder if Luis is looking on wondering how far he can go with this team - irrespective of whether we get CL football or not - especially as our hopes are centred on coming 4th in the league.

Conversely he knows that getting quality players is dependent on his goals so he will work harder to make sure we qualify for the CL.

But is it though? If he scores a **** load more goals this season and we make the CL would you really be more confident that we can get the bigger deals done and dusted? Especially as it is World Cup year which always seems a more difficult window.

                    You would hope so.

We would be a bigger draw and have more money from both the CL and the sponsorship deals kicking in.

I think our idea of value would change in light of extra revenue and the quality required to make in the CL.

I hope so too, but if memory serves correctly we eventually matched Spurs' offer for Willian - but he still chose them over us ie opted for a different non CL club even though he knew that they had sold their best player.

I know he then chose Chelsea, but if it had stayed a head to head between us and Spurs (two clubs at a similar level), he would be playing at White Hart Lane now. So do you think it would be that different going head to head with a CL club for a player this summer?

I've noticed something recently...which I think relates to his new seniority in the team - he is constantly pointing team mates in certain directions, constantly pulling people into position. He seems to think about the game at all times - rather than just blindly ploughing his own furrow. He is tactically aware and responsible. I think it's remarkable when you add that to his insane skill and equally insane work rate. He has literally got the lot.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yeah, he's the director of the front line isn't he. He's a natural leader too.

we saw that at city, he was telling cissoko and moses were to run, what space to cover. it shows that the others are as tactically aware or their concentration fades too much.

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
