Was reading through this http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/affe...scoinhalte.pdf and it's clear that FIFA punishments can be extended to domestic leagues.
It really does seem unfair that our players contribute to FIFA's competitions and yet they can completely disregard our club's needs. I really think that all football clubs should consider pulling their players out of FIFA's tournaments until this is changed. Suarez is contracted to us not Uruguay - bollocks to international competitions, we pay the player's wages.

He did that last time he bit someone.Originally posted by Chilts33 View PostHe needs to quickly come out and apologise for his actions, if he doesn't he'll unfortunately confirm what (my opinion) a number of people believe. He's just a selfish, petulant boy in the body of a man!

Yes. There should be a clear distinction between what happens domestically and internationally, why should an association club be affected by something that they have no control of? We were clearly doing something right, Suarez behaved himself last season. Then he goes away with his country, plays in two games and gets banned for 23 games! That we should bear the brunt of that is crazy.Originally posted by Venton View PostSeriously?

This. But it is far more reaching than this. He cant particapate in football; Playing, Training, or even attending games for Liverpool games. This just ****ing stinks!Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostYes. It would be great to see all domestic clubs boycott the corrupt international circusOriginally posted by Leyton388 View PostEvery football club needs to take note of what's happened today. Why would they release players for internationals and FIFA tournaments when there is a chance they can be banned for domestic games.

We are not bearing the brunt Suarez is. We are caught in the middle and can do **** all about it other than take steps to stop it ever happening again.Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostYes. Maybe he should wear some form of headgear (balaclava, big scarf) if he returns for us? With room for a sponsor's logo to ensure he's financially rewarded, I'd hate for him to miss out.
Or hopefully the next time he tries it his opponent smashes his teeth down his throat!
If he doesn't get his transfer I'd love it for the hero worship to finish, just a nice round of applause for any goals and no more songs. Prick!ON THE COUCH...

We will be more affected by the ban than the player. He can just take off for a while, it's hardly a punishment. Okay he may possibly lose a few months pay, I don't think he'll be turning the settee upside down looking for loose change.Originally posted by Boogar View PostWe are not bearing the brunt Suarez is.
