52.7m is the agreed price. No player exchange.

This is a massive, massive wind-up.

Transfer fees don't really mean much nowadays. It's the whole life cost and add ons to look for. These deals are always way more complex than 140 characters can get across.

Meh, Catalan press will say low, we'll say high, more bothered about it just getting done (or falling through) and getting on with what we've got to do.

Are we all playing guess the price or are there sources? If the latter, a link would be helpful, unless it's twitter arse gravy.
                Oh I don't know.

It can't be any worse than my electricity tariff.

Craig H esque. It's frustrating because if that's the case it's significantly less than Bale whom I believe to be a significantly inferior player. I know that there is external, non football reasoning behind that, but I'd prefer if we did a bit better.

Ben Smith (what the **** does he know) says that on Wednesday Barca agreed to meet his release clause.

If that is true (large smith pinch of salt) then I would suggest it's a lot more than what the Spanish press are reporting.

Looking back at the time each had with us, I still preferred Torres to Suarez.
All this talk of Suarez being miles better than Torres at his peak is absolute arse. Two brilliant but very different players, one with serious temperament problems, the other who (understandably) got pissed off with the state of the club and the broken promises. To those who point to Suarez scoring more, I point to Torres doing it against tougher opponents in more important games. His record against United, Chelsea, City and Arsenal was way better, plus he did it against the likes of Real Madrid as well.

Yep, those champions league games were some of the best times of my life as fan. Marseilles, Madrid, Arsenal. Some wonder goals too in among that lot.
                              Oh I don't know.

Are we going crescendo to a meltdown in here or is it piano piano?
                                Are we winning?
