Well, if he is going, I hope we add a sell on clause similar to that of Fabregas and Barca. I read the Goons will get c. 50% or soemthing ridiculous. Nice parting gift to anyone who jumps ship.Originally posted by Tee View PostNah, I reckon the club and his agent have told him a deal to sell we be sorted as long as we get the right offer so just shut the **** up for now.Substance > Style

I'm pretty sure if we negotiate such a clause we'll see less money. I'd rather just take as much money now as possible seeing as Luis will soon be 27 and this coming move will almost certainly be his last big move. This type of deal (sell on clause) makes more sense for someone like Bale who is very young and I don't see him spending more than 3 years abroad.Originally posted by ronanm View PostWell, if he is going, I hope we add a sell on clause similar to that of Fabregas and Barca. Ok, I'm just going to come out with this.
Luis doesn't mean as much to me as Torres did. I have enjoyed watching Luis play, but its not the same. He's always felt like a dirty rebound bird to me, one that I've tried to convince myself is the real thing but the only reason I've loved her so much is because of the special, dirty skills she has - I've enjoyed myself, but I've always loved another
I've known it was over with the previous one, but the good times were so good, that they're the apex, the alpha, the best...
It hasn't helped Suarez's cause for me, that we have been the most insipid iteration of LFC there has ever been. That isn't his fault - he was signed during a firestorm, and if we had grabbed him at any other point, everyone would have been happier - but we didn't. Liverpool have been **** the entire time Luis has been here, and that hasn't been his fault.
I don't think we can grudge him leaving. He would have stayed for years if they had been able to maintain the 05 06 07 08 09 momentum, but it was all fake and we were kidding ourselves as fans.
****ing hell.

Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has backed Luis Suarez's decision to quit Anfield this summer.
The Spain international admits he would rather the club's star striker stayed on Merseyside, but says he 'understands' his team-mate's decision to look for a move away.
Suarez rocked Liverpool by revealing he wants to leave, citing what he feels as his unfair treatment from the media as a key reason behind his decision.
And Reina admits he sympathises with the Uruguay international, saying: 'We've seen in the past that they [the media] have been difficult for him and for his family.
'To be honest, I would like for Luis to stay at Liverpool but I understand if he is thinking about leaving for a bigger club.
'When I say bigger I don't mean as a club. I mean challenging for titles, playing in the Champions League and competing with the best.
'Because of his situation and because of his treatment by the media. It would have been difficult for any player, not just for Luis, to stay strong and be happy to play.
'Hopefully, as I say, he will stay at Liverpool for many years. But I would understand, if the right offer comes for him and for the club, for him to go.'
Reina himself has been linked with a move away from the club this summer, with Barcelona and Arsenal known to be keen on the goalkeeper.
But the Spaniard, who is currently with the national team preparing for the Confederations Cup, insists the speculation over his future does not bother him.
'The speculation has never been a distraction for me, my mind is in Liverpool 100 per cent. The speculation is something you cannot control. I can guarantee you that my future is with Liverpool right now.
