The fact it is forwarded means the content could easily have been edited by a prankster.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostThat is obviously not to say its real. I'd be surprised if it is - who the **** would leak something like that? It wouldn't be hard to fake the official LFC signature.Oh I don't know.

If this is real, then my gripe is not with the club but whomever leaked this really.
I know the club isn't behind Luis' move and I think most fans do. There will be little anger if he's sold. I want him to stay but I understand if he wants to leave and I understand the board wanting to sell in that case.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Nah, he's referring to handling the reaction of the fans. In that respect he'd be right to draw parallels with the Torres deal. It would also explain what Torres was referring to about how he was kind of forced out of the club rather than forcing his way out himself.Originally posted by dom9 View Post
The only thing which makes me question it is the reference to FT.
I'd have thought the process would be standard for all want-away players? Not just the exceptional ones.
Not that it means it's real of course
, but it does make some sense.

Not buying that (but more than open to correction if otherwise)
While I can easily believe that we are truly incompetent to the point of stuff like this getting out, and that Suarez is off to Real, something about the tone of the mail doesn't ring true.
I think its the bit in the first paragraph, where its explained, almost narrative-like, about 'how it had worked with the traitor before' etc etc 'make it look like the club not behind it ' etc etc
It's too 'explanatory', if you get my drift."I will make the boys feel your support"

No way is that real, it's so easy to fake an email like that - that signature could be easily legitimately obtained by, say, applying for a job at the club and hearing back from HR or something like that. Change a few details and bam, Ayre's signature.
My bull**** detector has gone batty.
That's not to say I don't agree with the content, I fully expect that IS all happening - I think Luis is off, we know, he knows, Real knows and we're looking for replacements.
Exactly, it's far too like a Bond villain fully explaining their plan for no apparent reason.Originally posted by McDermotX View PostNot buying that (but more than open to correction if otherwise)
