Probably almost all our players would say the same. If Coutinho would be asked the same question then he would probably say the same for example.

Suarez said the same things before we signed him. Why is it ok by a player to force a move to us but when he do it playing for us then he is a c*nt?

He pleaded a lot in the media that Ajax should let him leave.

If he acted like a c*nt when he joined us then it is big risk that he will do it again.

The Ajax fans understood it and the fans still love him.

We use the same methods as Real. If you try to act like an angel in the transfer market then you have no chance.

Heard the interview. It is pretty obvious that Suarez has told BR of his desire to move on.

It is then up to the player to put in a transfer request and then it is up to the club accepting it or not.

The player should also understand that he may end up staying if we don't get a big enough offer and not sulk if that happens.

The club shouldn't hold it against the player in the future if he end up staying.

IMO Suarez won't sulk if he end up staying. All he want is to be sure that if a big enough offer is made then it should be up to him and not the club if he stay or not.

Believing what they read ? Luis' desire to join Real wasn't created/fabricated by some desperate journalist trying to sell papers or by Sky Sports trying to attract viewers. On at least 3 occasions Luis himself has said that he wants to join Real Madrid, nothing to do with translation problems or sly journos twisting his words, all this speculation has been started and maintained by Luis. Fact.

Whilst Suarez has done himself no favours and whilst it's true that stories haven't been fabricated they could well have been embellished:

I'm struggling to find anything where he says 'I want to join Real Madrid and leave Liverpool'. Yeah, sure, he's probably been asked a question around Real Madrid and what has followed has been the typical cliched footballer response. I'm not naive enough to think he's just being polite, but the press have seen their back pages writen for themselves with the option to blame translation.

Until we qualify for the CL our best players will continue to leave for bigger clubs like Real.

It is difficult accepting that but we aren't a top class club at the moment.

I don't think you can go off what is said in the papers, the people interviewing the players will certainly have an agenda, be that just to be get a big story or to get a particular outcome. They will manipulate the interview by asking a series of seemingly innocent questions which build up to something big at the end and then just print the final answer as the story.
