His workrate, movement, skill, selflessness are all unbelievable. But his biggest attribute is that he is a Winner. He will stop at nothing to ensure his team win.

And he is well happy to be wearing red, looks like a little kid playing on the schoolyard!

I think this is a good point. One of the things which may make a huge difference for us next season is Suarez brings a bit off 'edge' to our play, he looks like he loves a battle and wins most of them. Too often in the past we have been a bit of a soft touch - I don't see us being like that with Suarez in the team. If we could add a centre back with similar self belief then we will be really going places.

Jamie Carragher is convinced Luis Suarez is a Liverpool legend-in-the-making after he produced another mesmeric display in the 5-2 triumph over Fulham.

The Uruguayan tormented the Cottagers's rearguard throughout a one-sided encounter in the Capital, leading the Reds stalwart to wax lyrical about our new No.7.

"If he [Suarez] keeps playing like that I think he'll be a bigger legend than I'll ever be," said Carra.

"He looks a really top player, he plays for the team. It shows he's adaptable and versatile, he can do different jobs for the teams."

He added: "We've been flying since Christmas and that's credit to everyone involved.

"The manager's come in and made a big difference, whatever he's done has worked.

"Players coming in have made a huge difference as well, Suarez is superb.

"I hope I'm not getting too carried away here but I think the performances that he's showed have proved he's going to be a real player for Liverpool, not just between now and the end of season but for years to come."

Manchester United's win over Chelsea means they are on the verge of surpassing Liverpool's record of 18 league titles.

Carragher acknowledges the achievement but remains determined to rectify the situation next season.

He added: "If we want that record back or we want to win leagues ourselves we can't keep relying on other teams to stop Man United doing it.

"They're a great team and great club and you have to have respect for them.

"The only way of us getting back on top is winning titles not relying on others."

It just seems like he makes everyone else play better.
                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

seems like he's breathed some confidence into the side doesn't it.

He sets the tempo for the team and has moved the bar for what is an acceptable individual performance way up for the rest. Tempo stood out the most for me from Stevie's comments last night. We are flying around the pitch at the moment. There have been a few bad flat performances under Kenny, but the players really get what's needed and we're buzzing about the place now. Lead at the front by Suarez and Dirk. Defend from the front like when Rush was playing.

Suarez is an absolute pleasure to watch. It's so refreshing to watch a player with desire that matches his ability. He's up there with Messi in this regard, a completely different player but with the same ethos of hard work, skill, enjoyment and desire. They both play the game with such ease. Suarez looked like he would have played until midnight! He doesn't even seem to care about scoring himself which just show's he's love for playing footbal.

Ajax were mugged for the price we paid. Well done to Comoli and the rest of management to getting him signed up. We've got an absolute gem.

Going back to the negotiation period with Ajax over Suarez, myself and other spent ages saying how ridiculous it would've been if we'd missed out over paying an extra £2m-£3m....thank feck we paid it! Imagine how we'd be feeling now if Suarez was doing this for another PL club and we'd lost out over a couple of million.

But we didn't, seemingly didn't need to, and he's playing great for us. Not really sure why your point it. Although we have no real knowledge of the negotiation details, the price doesn't support your gloat.

We initially went in with a £12m bid or something of that ilk, according to reports

                                If we'd paid £30m, it would've been a bargain
