Oh come on, the contact was minimal at most. There's no way he was in agony there

He clearly took a knock to his shin there.

If he were conning the ref he'd have waved his imaginary card like he does sometimes.

        He was genuinely hurt there

Heard from a mate that Tony Hibbert was blaming the huge scream Luis let out as the reason the ref gave it.

He did but that is not any different from "divers" and "screamers" that pretty much every club has.

I don't see the press turning against Nani, Bale, Drogba, Torres, Kun, Tevez, etc. for the same type of behavior and I firmly believe that there is a huge degree of double standards and witch hunt going on when it comes to our players.

I actually dont though. This whole point was me replying to someone else, who claimed that everyone was having a go at Suarez, but i've not seen it, not even a little bit. And then you yourself mentioned a witch hunt against us, because they never turned against others who have done the same as Luis - but that's the whole point, they never turned against them and i've seen nobody turning against him either.

So where's the witch hunt here? Suarez hasnt been slagged off by the TV lot as far as i've seen. I dont even recall hearing anyone actually mention him rolling around on the floor.

I'm clearly not seeing the witch hunt in this scenario.

There's an awful lot of bad feeling developing about Luis Suarez, who is fast becoming one of the most disliked players in the Premier League. We love a Sunday mailbox...

                            Suarez: Utter Disgrace
Is there a bigger c*** in football? Whether it's his actions at the World Cup last year or biting another player or his action in the Merseyside derby, fact of the matter is that he is a disgrace. To quote McEnroe, "You're a f***ing disagrace".
Mr (I bet Suarez drives the A-Team van. He's that kind of a smug c***) Johnson

...Liverpool spend £125million or so over the summer compared to the zero spent by their pauper neighbours and they still needed a referee to give a sending-off that was nothing of the sort and a cheating South American to convince him, to get anything from the game. Could Luis Saurez become the most hated player in the prem? He's got every chance.

In my anger at the cheats part in the sending-off, I did a bit of internet searching, and it turns out he was utterly despised during his time in Holland too. This is as well as being hated by the Ghanaians of course, and most of the rest of Africa and indeed most of the rest of the world for despicably cheating Ghana and Africa out of their first ever semi-final in the South African World Cup. He will fit in *VERY* well at Liverpool Football Club. Very well indeed. A perfect match of player and club.

Oh, and funny that Kenny wasn't moaning about unfair decisions this weekend like he has been for the last month or so eh? In fact even refusing to watch 'the incident'. Hypocrite.

...I think it was F365 a week or so ago that questioned why none of the big boys made a move for Suarez and whether they would now be disappointed to have missed out on him.

He may be incredibly talented and majestically graceful when on the ball, however none of this takes takes away from the fact that he is an odious little twunt!

...Martin Atkinson was wrong to send off Rodwell. In my opinion he wasn't helped by the morally bankrupt behaviour of Suarez. The way he went down and rolled around on the floor was a disgrace. He could learn a thing or two from this season's Nani.

The Nani of previous years probably would have done the same. It annoyed everyone. This season I've noticed a change. He's stronger on the ball and doesn't go down as easily. If the decision doesn't go his way he gets back up and gets on with it. I hope he truly has put his rolling around on the floor antics behind him.

Suarez needs to do the same. There's no doubting his talent, but in his case it's tainted by the fact that he's a cheat and a con artist. He needs to learn from where Nani has improved his game this season.

All jealous, inbred closet manc scumbags. Who gives a **** what they think. Just hurts them see the team they are obsessed with [us] have a great player who threatens every defence he faces.

Like they'd be mad if one of their players did the same handball as Luis in a Champions League final to keep their team in it.

Penalty was stonewall - stupid play from Jagielka. Not even Moyes tried to say otherwise.

Ref got card out straight away and wasn't even looking at Suarez rolling around so it's ref's fault for silly red card, not Luis'.

Suarez started off in classic goal-sniffing form with an early header on Howard’s goal, but he quickly attracted the ire of the home faithful following the harsh sending off of Rodwell. Leaping to the sky like a lemming on his final mission following Rodwell’s contact, Suarez, a player with a long-held reputation for diving, courted boos from the locals for the remainder of the match.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez was the villain in the eyes of Everton fans after he was involved in the sending-off of Jack Rodwell before scoring the second goal in a controversial 2-0 derby victory.

The Uruguay international was berated as a cheat by the majority of Goodison Park - and appeared to have a coin thrown at him - after making the most of Rodwell's sliding tackle midway through the first half.

Luis Suarez. He’s done it again. Unfortunately, it’s not scoring a wonder goal this time.

In the World Cup against Ghana, Luis Suarez committed a crime and blatantly blocked the ball with his hands to prevent a certain goal for Ghana. The main thing that stuck in the craw of most supporters was the fact that having been red carded, Suarez then proceeded to celebrate in the tunnel when Ghana missed their penalty.

Today, 1 October 2011, against Everton Suarez committed another crime and succeeded in conning referee Martin Atkinson to send off Jack Rodwell in the 23rd minute of the game with a straight red card. Replays proved there was no contact and Suarez cheated.

Leaving aside Atkinson’s obvious error, this gamesmanship is extremely annoying and not just for the victims of it. Talented he may be, but Suarez only diminishes his obvious superior talent by diving and cheating.

Before the “Johnny Foreigner” brigade weighs in, Suarez’s cheating stablemates include not only Cristiano Ronaldo and Didier Drogba but also the English players like Steven Gerrard and Michael Owen.

Unlike the TV show, cheaters should not be praised but should be retrospectively banned.
