Exactly, Suarez may well think at the moment he'll be..and want's to be here for ever, as i think Torres did at one point.

One thing though, it does i think go a long way to showing how happy he is at LFC right now.

If you're talking about Torres, then of course they can. Might just be an idea not to profess undying love and loyalty some 10 or so days before aiming the knife into the back, mind...

Absolutely. Trouble is that players know this may hamper any future move and so they are unlikely to agree to it. FWIW I think when he does go it'll be for pretty close to £50m and that'll be a fair valuation

I dont mind players going, that's part and parcel. It's about the way they do it though. That's why Torres will get abuse when Chelsea come back to Anfield next May, while Alonso would always have people bowing down to him on his return.

Maybe he would have stayed if we had signed up Suarez sooner than at the end of the window.

The point is that Torres had a very valid reason leaving and Suarez would have the same if we miss out on the CL.

No one can really blame the player if he want out if the club isn't challenging for titles or playing in the CL.

With owners like Gillett and Hicks then you can never blame a player if he want out of here. We of course had been bought by FSG but they didn't show quick enough that they are any better than G&H.

Now they have showed it but they showed it to late for us to be able to keep Torres.

I don't understand why Torres would believe FSG more than G&H until they proved in actions that they are better owners.

I read that quickly as 'blowing up his rectum'

Agreed, although how important/loved they were makes a difference too. Torres's departure was always going to be tough, it's a shame he didn't manage it better

Perhaps if he'd given them the chance to show they were nothing like H&G, even until the summer but he couldn't even do that could he!

Funny how some of our other players could have probably left on the same pretence but are still here but their loyalties are called into question!

The club should have as a policy to never accept a transfer request that isn't put in at the start of a transfer window.

The club should tell the players that they will turn down every transfer request that isn't put in inside the first week of the window.

IMO we should have kept Torres and Meireles because they put in the transfer request to late.

I don't care if the player is unhappy.

I think you're missing the point...not unlike you.

I'm not blaming him for going, i'm blaming him for declaring his love for the club and his loyalty less than 2 weeks before he demanded a move. Why the **** would anyone do that? His mind was well made up before he moved and before that January, only a cunt would mislead the fans like he did.

And he's confirmed what a cunt he is by some of the bull**** comments he's made about LFC since he left.

So in closing, it's not that he went, it's the lies and bull**** before and after he left.

And he hardly gave FSG a chance to prove themselves, did he? The january window was their first chance to back up their words with actions and they did it. He'd already decided to go, regardless of what FSG spent in the window.

                        Arn revisionism at its best.

The bid from Chelsea may not been there six months later. You never know.

Maybe it was now or never when it comes down to Chelsea or another big club. Another long term injury could have meant that he could been forced to stay the rest of his contract because they wouldn't pay big enough money to get an injury prone player.

That at a time when he didn't knew if FSG was any better owner than G&H.

So dont therefore blame FSG, and make out they were in the wrong FFS

                              All If's But's & Maybe's.

He should have given them a chance he didn't - him leaving was irritating but players come and go, the club will always endure but the way he did it was disgraceful.

At the end of the day he's gone he doesn't play for us and I think most have moved on (although watching him miss open goals and 3 yard sitters is amusing still) but I refuse to think "ahhhh poor little Nando, he needed to go for himself, and I can understand why he left".

He left us in the lurch simple as that.

They should have signed up Suarez the first week of the window instead of trying to save a couple of millions.

They should have sacked Roy sooner than they did.

Two mistakes that pointed to that they wasn't better owners than G&H.
