this is a ****in terrible article

Liverpool have the worst record for diving in the Premier League - and it might be costing them legitimate penalties.
This week manager Brendan Rodgers claimed his players might have to go down more often to win kicks - but it may not do them much good.
Luis Suarez (already booked for diving once this season) was denied a clear penalty on Saturday when he was hauled down in the area and should also have had one against Manchester United after a Jonny Evans tackle.
Rodgers said: 'Of course it was a penalty. If Antonio Valencia's was a penalty last week, of course that was, but he doesn't always get given the decisions he deserves.'
There's a reason for that. Opta stats show Liverpool players have received six yellow cards for simulation since the start of last season - more than any other club and more than 25 per cent of the overall total shown.
Suarez - described by Sir Alex Ferguson last season as diving 'all over the place' - is the chief culprit, with three cautions, more than any other player

Erm, where are United's dives? I understand, just, Valencia's being left off, but Welbeck took a blatant dive and was rewarded with a pelanty. And Suarez's 3 "dives" are all demonstrably not dives.

What a load of bolleaux. I don't see Welbeck's name on that, ergo it's a complete waste of ink.

        Cunts.

And why since the start of last season? How arbitrary and pointless.

It makes no sense at all

Even if it were only ones players got booked for it's completely pointless. Daily Fail

That's the point, they've only considered the ones that were cautioned regardless if they were correct or not. Pathetic article

                      Woeful article.

It tots up the amount of times he's been booked for diving but who's to say those cautions were the correct decision.I mean its not like ref's are persecuting him or anything...oh wait

He was booked for diving against Sunderland when it was a clear pen so the premise of the article is bull**** from the off

IIRC the one that Bellamy got booked for was a joke too.

Ivanovic dived twice last week but those appear to have been left off.

                            Wonderfully factual article that.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

What a load of crap that article is, only including people who have been booked for diving is nonsense, I know for a fact that at least two of those dives by our players were fouls, and we can all think of countless dives by Man Utd players (Young, Welbeck, Valencia, Nani etc) all of which went unpunished. Paper/journo with an angenda...
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
