Thanjk you.

Torres was better than Suarez in just about every way you can quantify football, while he was at his peak. He just used to glide with the ball at his feet. He may not have had the close control Suarez has, but he still had amazing dribbling skills, and used them to better effect. If someone offered me a Torres from back then in exchange for Suarez now, I would snap their arm off.
Perhaps you were thinking of Owen?
Mate your way off. Torres was an incredible finisher, he beat players by his burst of pace over the first 10 yards. But technically is was average. Goalscorer pure and simple whereas Suarez is a more complete player.
I'd say that Suarez is a better technical player and better used in approach play but how many goals would he be setting up if we had 2007-era Torres in and around the box. Eeeesh.

I'm wondering.
How many goals can you score with an average technique?
Can you please explain to me how someone so technically average has 2 European Championship winners medals having scored in both finals, a World Cup Winners medal, Champions League Winners medal and FA Cup Winners medal?
If you are going to pretend that you know more than you actually do and come out with ridiculously **** statements like Torres is 'technically average' then you just make yourself look stupid. Plain and simple(ton).
Have a look at some of the goals scored and figure out how he can volley into the top corners vs Blackburn with an average technique, score away to Marseille (I think) with a mazy dribble before opening his body and rolling it into the corner also with a **** technique.
Couple of the goals against the Mancs where he finished 1 on 1 after brushing off challenges.
Goals vs Chelsea, the Arsenal one in the Champions League.....
I could go on but seriously, trying to claim Torres is technically average is right up there as the most ridiculous thing anyone has posted on an internet forum.
Ever.
And that is saying something.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.
There's no defence for the dive but the coverage is ****in annoying me.
MOTD2 last night. Bale's dive. All laughing about it, calling him a good lad, before one of them said "it's important to see the lighter side of football".
Suarez dive - they ****ing hammered him.
This.
It's the lack of consistency that's boiling my piss.
What Suarez did was stupid, but if we're going to talk about retrospective bans, then the approach needs to be consistent. Equally, why does it have to be Suarez that is made the scapegoat? Are they going to ban Bale, Welbeck, Young, Rooney et al (I realise that looks quite Man Utd heavy, but I can't think of many other examples) retrospectively too and then rescind yellow cards that we incorrectly issued. And yes, I'm thinking of Suarez.
I was thinking more the FA, if they were to get involved.
They can't, if they do they're breaking their own rules. Simulation is a yellow card offence, and they can't retrospectively issue yellows. Nor can they remotely make that into a straight red (3 match ban) like Fergie's mate Tony wants.... they could just as easily award us a retrospective penalty for the assault on Luis in the Norwich game.
Ridiculous though that dive was, and however much it undermines what we've been saying in the last few weeks about him not getting decisions, I don't see that anything more can come of this other than more of the usual media bull****. On the other hand, RVP's elbow and Huth's stamp, both of them should be getting retrospective reds. Not that they will.
Oh, and fwiw, Carroll's dive against Newcastle last year was worse. Much worse. Neither of them can hold a torch to Kromkamp though.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
i hate the wording "diver" when referring to suarez. he is a player with a theatrical fall is more suited to describe him. suarez 9 times out of 10 gets the slightest of contact and there fore is not a diver (when no contact is made a la bale, valencia, young)
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.
