Seen the "stamp" again, it was a late tackle with no malice IMO, should have been a yellow but was no worse than that.

Roberto Martinez accuses Suarez of stamping.
David Moyes claims Suarez was fortunate to escape a red card.Originally posted by Roberto MartinezWhen you see the replay it is a clear stamp. It could have been a red card if the referee had seen it.
Tony Pulis calls for Suarez to be banned for trying to con refereesOriginally posted by David MoyesHe was a very lucky man to stay on the pitch for his tackle.
It is relentless.Originally posted by Tony PulisI've been on about and banging the drum about people who fall over. It's an embarrassment. The FA should be looking at this.

I know what you mean by no basis, as in they don't really know **** about what's going on.Originally posted by rcasemore View PostAnd here we go again, ****ty stories written with no basis on reality from hacks whose real job is to make sure the advertising sells
But on the basis that Luis is one of the hottest properties in football just now, and the position LFC are in compared to other clubs at this moment in time, then you can guarantee the giants of europe will be looking to sign him, of that i have no doubt at all.
I for one am praying hard that we make 4th place, regardless of how difficult that is, other sides are stuttering, so we have a slim chance imo, but we need it sooner rather than later, even then it may not be enough, look how Arsenals best players deserted them even when in the competition.Last edited by Vermilion; 18-11-12, 11:06 AM.

I agree that 99.9% of them are. But on the Juve link, Raphael Honigstein tweeted that he knew Suarez's 'people' had met with Juve Officials last week, so maybe it's from there.
But as i say, it's fact imo that clubs are making attempts/plans to sign him, that's the important part of all this for me, i don't really care which clubs tbh, i just wish they'd all **** off and leave him alone, but that's not going to happen..
Who knows, as we've all agreed, lfc are on a long journey with BR, as Mr Nice so eloquently put it...LFC was a broken club, so maybe our journey is just too long for a player like Luis, and we'll just have to accept that eventually.
But i'm not giving up on 4th place giving us a big helping hand on that score, not expecting it, but it's there imo if we can put a run of games together.

He's so good that the only way people can do anything about it is to try and drive him out of english football. He's not going anywhere as he's just signed a 6 year deal in the summer. The chavs and that italian mob can **** right off.
After the **** he has got over the past 12 months i very much doubt Suarez will want to play for another english club.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Barcelona are more likely to in my opinion. He'd be perfect as a replacement for David Villa long term. They could finance it since they've already put aside the Neymar money, so they could end up offering £40million + Villa or something like that.
Suarez, Messi and Neymar would be ejaculatory material.

Just watching Sky's Goals on Sunday, and David Moyes is the guest today.
Kammy was really praising Suarez after the Wigan performance and to be fair to Moyes he described Suarez as one of the great LFC strikers that he's had to face over they years. Moyes was also in a way trying to retract his Suarez diving comments, saying he wasn't really aiming it to Suarez, but to football in general and the need to get rid of the divers.
Kammy then showed his own player (Phil Neville) diving in the Derby! Kammy then replayed Suarez diving in front of Moyes, saying this was one of the funniest moments this season. To be fair to Moyes, he took it in jest and said he'd have probably have done the same himself if he was the player in question. You could tell he was trying to put on a very brave face though!
They didn't even mention the Suarez stamp incedent. Whisper it quietly but iv got a feeling that the media are slowly starting to warm to our no. 7. They dont have a choice i suppose, he's the best player in the league.
