tbh, i can only think of one player that 50mill rings a bell with .
And this forum was on meltdown when he stuck in his transfer request.

He will probably stay but one thing is abundantly clear, next season WILL be his make or break here. No CL qualification and he will be gone, possibly even by January if we have another season like this.

Reading between the lines there is a fair chance he will stay or even possibly move on.

And it wont be the end of this club when he does leave, neither will it be the end of the world. Enjoy the next game.

He might stay, he'll probably leave.

                  It's football, these things happen.

Realistically he could actually leave, but he may decide to stay.

Lets just enjoy each game while he is here.

I think ill be frustrated if he leaves this year. But next year if we fail to make the Champions League I'd want him to leave. A player like this deserves success.

[I never want him to leave obviously, but you get what I mean]

What the hell happened to player loyalty? As far as I'm concerned, when we buy a 23 year old Uruguayan from a Dutch club to become the fourth club he has played for in the past five years, I expect him to park any ambition and play for us for the rest of his career regardless of whether he wins any trophies or not.
