I wonder what would happen if I bit someone who worked for another investment bank?

      This. As I said earlier

FA can act in exceptional circumstances - I'd wager they'll deem biting to be exceptional.

You'd probably be lauded for it.

I think it will depend what is in the refs report but given his previous there is no way he will get away without a ban.

He might have seen something - although that's far from certain - but I don't see how he can say he saw him biting someone when he didn't send him off.
                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Are not other players clearly going over the top of the ball to injure players not exceptional circumstances.

There has been no action taken on several cases recently, so why this?

This is what i was on about earlier.

It is indefensible what Luis did, but get the level of indefense correct...if that makes sense? he was never going to end Ivanovich's career, but Sky and most of the rest will make it sound like Ivanovich could have lost an arm.

Unless of course he went to do it and didn't sink his teeth in. Be interesting to see what Ivanovich says.

Defoe biting Mascherano was the last incident in England like this, Sky say. Defoe booked, no further action taken.

Blame the media if you like. It's rare but the FA can retrospectively punish players - the Ben Thatcher forearm smash being such an incident iirc.
