He might have seen something - although that's far from certain - but I don't see how he can say he saw him biting someone when he didn't send him off.Originally posted by IlikeBacon View PostDidnt the ref see it and take no action, as didnt he talk to Ivanovic. Therefore, the FA can't take any action?.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Are not other players clearly going over the top of the ball to injure players not exceptional circumstances.Originally posted by Rich View PostFA can act in exceptional circumstances - I'd wager they'll deem biting to be exceptional.
There has been no action taken on several cases recently, so why this?

This is what i was on about earlier.Originally posted by Tee View PostSky are ****ing loving this the scumbags. Shameful OTT coverage.
It is indefensible what Luis did, but get the level of indefense correct...if that makes sense? he was never going to end Ivanovich's career, but Sky and most of the rest will make it sound like Ivanovich could have lost an arm.

Blame the media if you like. It's rare but the FA can retrospectively punish players - the Ben Thatcher forearm smash being such an incident iirc.Originally posted by Assassin View PostAre not other players clearly going over the top of the ball to injure players not exceptional circumstances.
