he's proper mad... or a real vampire... But with teeth like that... anyway, he deserves a ban, it's unacceptable.

I'm glad we've learned from last time and moved quickly on this one.
I think that we need to try and get him some help though; to try and stop him doing crazy the crazy stuff he does from time to time. He plays on the edge and I think we need to try and get someone to work with him to keep him on the right side of the line. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'm not sure if it's anger or what, but I think we should get someone working with him to try and stop him doing some of the crazy stuff he does, and channel this anger/energy/whatever you want to call it into something positive.Originally posted by Gibbo View PostDoes anyone reckon he genuinely has anger issues? The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He loses control occasionally and could do with some help in how to channel his feelings, but clearly he plays on the edge and sometimes just crosses that fine line.Originally posted by Gibbo View PostDoes anyone reckon he genuinely has anger issues?"Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." seriously, if you bite oponents then you've got a bit of a mental issue. that's the story here, not over the top tackles.Originally posted by Assassin View PostPerspective: Career theatening broken leg from a over the top late challenge or a little bite mark on your arm. You choose. What is worse?

Just saw the incident on Premier Soccer Sunday - very balanced analysis by Gilesy and Richie Sadlier.
I'm pretty gutted that it's as bad as I feared. I was hoping the whole thing was being overstated but it's ****in bad. No point in trying to compare biting to bad tackles etc - it's just a completely different and nuts thing. It has even less of a place than an awful more damaging tackle because it bears no relation to the sport.
All that said, I don't want Suarez sold, even if it might be the right thing. Sadly, I don't think he has any real control over these actions - the same mad genius tenacity that makes him great also makes him capable of madness.Felching ≠ Gerbilling

The issue is about Suarez being who he is, a person who plays on the edge. What he done today (yes it was wrong) but it wouldnt have ended a career or put a player out of action for several months. That is what the "perspective" reference is aboutOriginally posted by fred_plasticine View Postseriously, if you bite oponents then you've got a bit of a mental issue. that's the story here, not over the top tackles.

it's only a bite on an arm. Seriously, this needs to be put into context.
