You can't legislate for a player doing that, it was red mist and basically not something you can coach out of them as a football manager. Rodgers has said all the right things so far and there is very little more he could be expected to do, I fail to see what else he is or should be doing at the moment

As mentioned earlier in the thread, i thought he had a poor game by his standards yesterday, but selling your best player especially when like for like replacement is going to be almost impossible to find/persuade to come to us.
      We come not to play.

Personally, I can't wait to see what he'll do next. How can he possibly top what he's got up to the last couple of times.

Maybe shoot a defender on his way to scoring ala The Last Boy Scout !

                  Savage player.

Suarez is the Rick James of football, a genius in his profession but crazier than a box of frogs, a habitual line crosser... I still love those funkalicious chooooons though.

Ugh, why does he need to say that. What an attention seeking gob****e.

As I saw someone post on Twitter, we should come out to warm up for the next game all dressed in shark outfits

Hamann is at it too. Pretty piss poor from him. He is the new Lawrenson. Seemed like a dig at Gerrard and Carra too for not winning anything in the last 7 years.

LeSaux and that bellend Brian Moore were at it too with Robbie Fowler. Too many people trying to make a name for themselves

Hamann is going way down in my estimation. He's blatantly trying to get more of career in the media. Were we really 2nd best all game? I thought we were the better team in the 2nd half

Did anything ever actually happen with regards to his recent "punch" in the Uruguay match?

One thing anyway......................it looks like the 'charm offensive' he went on this season has gone down the pan big time.
There were a few instances this season where he seemed to be putting himself out there more for the media etc, and coming across as a genuinely decent fella, That was being reflected on more and more (not universally, but still a huge improvement), going hand in hand with his status as the best player in England. But he seemed to follow up those attempts with almost self-destructive incidents - dive against Stoke after gaining somewhat all round sympathy over how he was being targeted on the pitch, boxing with Uruguay.
Then there was the unfortunate FA Cup handball, which although completely instinctive and accidental, gave the media ammo for their character assassination.

                              Now this.
No one to blame but himself of course, he really is a complete mentalist.

                                Not cleared yet I believe.....

Last week, Fifa announced that they had opened an investigation after learning that Argentine referee Nestor Pitana had missed the incident during the game in Santiago.

But Uruguayan football's governing body has expressed dismay that this particular incident has been highlighted - and plan to submit video evidence of other incidents missed by referees for which no further action has been taken. That evidence is expected to include an alleged punch by World Player of the Year Messi, while on duty for Argentina.

The Uruguayan FA have also argued that Suarez only acted in retaliation after being "grabbed by the genitals".
