With that in mind, the fact no one knows how right we'll get this summers signings, then surely it's wiser to keep any player we know for sure is good enough ?

Rather than selling a sure fire thing, and gambling that we'll get the signings right with any money we re-invest.

And btw, the last time I looked Everton were above us in the league and they didn't need a 30 goal striker to achieve it.

Why? because as a team they function better than us at the moment, they aren't relient on 1 player.
      We are.

Obviously that born winner Moyes has had 11 years to build the squad and win **** all but I don't see how we can look down our noses at any side who are currently above us.

The doom and gloom leading up to the derby if Suarez is banned by then will tell you that most fans think he's our only hope of winning.

Don't finish in the top 4 by being relient on 1 player.

Yes I understand that logic and can see why others would agree with it.
What's the point in keeping him IF he gets a 9 game ban and 6 of those are the 1st 6 games of the PL season, we struggle for goals and are 10 points off the top 4 because Suarez is here but not available so we don't have him but we also haven't replaced him??

All the while bearing in mind there has been a lot written and said that IF he stayed it would be for 1 more season, that season being the one he was responsible for ruining before he's even available?

Same as if he gets injured though innit.

Im sure Sturridge and any possible buys we may have in the summer can fill the gap.

Yeah, well, they didn't. Now Luis and the club are at the mercy of the FA, who, let's face it, don't exactly like Suarez, just look how they ****ed him over the Evra thing when there wasn't any actual proof. I could go in to the whole Suarez/Evra/Terry/Ferdinand bollocks but I can't be arsed.

Needless to say, the club SHOULD have dealt with it and not given the FA a chance to **** all over us, but they didn't. Now it's in the hands of the FA, I fully expect Suarez to be banned for at least a few weeks in to next season, if not months.

I don't see it like that at all. I just think he has a very severe case of white line fever. I get that too. Normally I'm laid back, very placid and not remotely aggressive. Put me in a competitive football match and I want to fight everybody. Suarez has got it bad. A hugely extreme case of it. Everyone who knows him talks of what a sweet, loyal and humble guy he is. No way IMO can people make assumptions on his character based on how he behaves on a football pitch.
Thing is though Shaggy, if you were on my team and with absolutely no provocation you ****ted someone, got sent off and we lost "generic local pub cup A" because of it, well I'd call you a dickhead for it. And you'd probably agree too when the fever had cleared

Suarez character off the pitch really is irrelevant in these discussions, and indeed is double irrelevant given we, the fans, pay our money etc to watch what happens on the pitch not off it. I'm making no assumptions about his overall character, but in terms of what matters to me, ie. what he does on the pitch playing for Liverpool football club, I'm massively massively pissed off with him today.

It doesn't help my mood that he's utterly ****ed up my plans for my fantasy team over the next few weeks too
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                    Mine angry and defrauded young?

He's at the mercy of the FA anyway.
                      Oh I don't know.

Er, you know he admitted to saying it yeah? I dont know how much more proof you need. Now context is different. But I see that differently to most too. He said what he said, but to say there was no proof isnt right.

                          Bollocks.
Who are Arsenal relient on? Giroud? no, Podolski? no, Walcott? no, Wilshere? no, Gervini****ingo?? no.
Everyone said they were relient on RvP, they sold him and will finish top 4 as they always do.

                          Spurs? you mean Bale?
Also bollocks, Lennon has more open play assists, behind Bale they have shared the goals out more evenly than we have, have a better, more balanced squad a stronger defence and better keeper in Lloris.
They have also stayed around the top 4 while competing in the Europa League.

You don't do that as a '1 man team'

Stop listening to the Sky/Media hyperbole
