I caught some of Gary Neville's comments tonight. He said Suárez is a street fighter kind of player and that's why he does all this, to gain an advantage for his team. And he said six minutes of injury time is justified in every game.Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostHeard some **** about anger management on the news. Wtf? He doesn't do it out of an angry desire to injure, he does out because he wants them to react and get sent off. Is that not clear?
That's all I heard. He was dead on..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Not sure about that at all. It looks completely unpremeditated. I can't see him pulling that face as a ploy, it looks like sudden rage which disappears as soon as he's done it.Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostHeard some **** about anger management on the news. I don't even think it's calculated. It's just the intensity he puts himself under which makes him do that.Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostHeard some **** about anger management on the news. Money. It makes a difference, of course it does. Why would sponsors want to associate themselves with a club if it's going to bring them negative PR? It might not drive them all away but it makes the club harder to sell and so lowers the price.Originally posted by Mello View PostI wonder why people care so much about "PR". What's the real, tangible effect of bad PR? I just can't think of a single time a club's bad PR decision over a player incident like this actually harmed that club..

Yep, Oscar was down for a while aswell, bit of time wasting etc, could easily have been 10 really, was good to see a decent amount rather than the usual 3 or 4 mins plus 5 seconds.Originally posted by Exiled_red View Post
What is it 30 seconds per goal and per sub? add to that the 2 mins or so before the penalty, 6 mins is easily justified, just sour grapes
