Former Crystal Palace striker Mark Bright (@Mark__Bright) feels it is a fair ban: “Repeat offence, no complaints with the 10-game ban for #Suárez he needs some help, he’ll now have plenty of time to get it. #lfc”

the fa decide what will be retrospectively considered and what can just slide. dirty corrupt ****ers.
im all for retrospective considerations, but it should be whether or not the ref sees it, and the ref giving a card at the time seems to let certain players off the hook from a big ban. but not ours...removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I just saw a tweet that said the below. Misses the point really.
Matt Hughes @MattHughesTimes 9m
Best point I've heard on LS from a Times reader: "if a 7 game ban wasn't sufficient to deter Suarez he needed to be punished more heavily."
If he's having trouble with anger management, then he's not thinking about the possibility of a ban when reacts in a flashpoint, is he?

Right'o out of severe boredom I've had a little look into things that I feel are just as bad or worse and their respective bans.
Luis Suarez - Racism on Patrice Evra - 8 Games
John Terry - Racism on Anton Ferdinand - 4 Games
Ryan Shawcross - Ramsey Leg Break - 3 Games
Sergio Aguero - Stamp on Luiz - No Charge
Callum McManaman - Terrible tackle on Haidara - No Charge
Wayne Rooney - Elbowing James McCarthy - No Charge
Adebayor - Kicking Van Persie in the face - 3 Games
Ben Thatcher - Dreadful elbow on Pedro Mendes - 8 Games
Joey Barton - Sent off, Kicked Aguero, Tried to headbutt Kompany - 12 Games
Marouane Fellaini - Headbutting Ryan Shawcross - 3 Games
There is obviously a few more. But 10 games looks more and more excessive. The times they are a changin'.

I presume all potential leg breaking challenges, punches trhown and missed and in fact any sort of incident that could potentially injure an oppponent will be treat in the same way.
It was an intentional bite but he didnt actually take any chunk out of his arm, He nibbled out of frustration, anger whatever and he was stupid no one is debating that,
But the FA have set themselves up for a whole load of reaper cushions with this charge. If this is the Yardstick, then god help football_____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!

You should include Rooney getting a 4 game ban for kicking somebody while on international duty, and the FA stepping in to argue for the ban to be reduced to 3 - and their arguments prevailed.Originally posted by Gibbo View PostRight'o out of severe boredom I've had a little look into things that I feel are just as bad or worse and their respective bans.
