Did you know if you rearrange the word Football Association you get
    Labia Colonists Foot
    or
    A Basilica Of Lot Snoot
    or
    A Fossil Cabal Into Too.

What if the opportune moment of Suarez getting entangled with Ivanovic never ocurred? Was Suarez going to go around randomly plunging his gnashers into whichever Chelsea player crossed his path? Coz he wants to leave a football club and player for another football club in a footballing world where loyalty means nothing.

Suarez was being marshalled by Ivanovic quite well; he was getting frustrated at (probable) niggles throughout the first half, our lack of fluidity in the final third and how he was just having 'one of those games'. He was getting so frustrated with Ivanovic, they exchanged words in the tunnel at half time (rumoured).

Such was the frustration at Ivanovic getting the better of him again, he lost it and went for him - nothing premeditated - just the red mist descending and he bit him. It's not like he hasn't got form for doing this; he was petulant, stupid and lost his head ... not in control and thinking straight.

Sorry, but I can't see it being some tiny cog in a grand masterplan.
I agree with you there. But I have a funny feeling that now it has happened someone is striking whilst the iron is hot.

Depends on our transfer budget really.

I think Sturridge is definately good enough cover, especially if we buy someone else. We shouldnt be forced into a sale.

As far as I know, nobody has made a single complaint. Ivanovic even told the coppers to **** off. The only evidence is that it looks dodgy as **** and Suarez admitted it.

From a media perspective, I think it's not enough that he has got 10 games and now they want to drag the arse out whats' left of the story. Now they have got the exceptional term they sought, aside from appealing, Suarez having to leave is the only material they have to work with. I expect it all to die down soon enough.

Non Liverpool fans (and some Reds!) think he got what he deserved - but they clearly cant believe their luck with the length of the ban either.

Wonder what the non partisan fans from the rest of the world thinks of the unequal treatment of foreigners in this country by the FA?

I really dont know if it would be better to sell him for £40m and get in two new strikers for £20m a piece or a new £40m star player. Not that any of the people I am thinking of would come to us.
I agree that next season is when we want to make a push for the top four, but we need to be using this summer's transfer window to build our team around Suarez; he's entering his peak, he will be coming off a season of scoring goals for fun and we need him for that spark.

Selling Suarez would be a backwards step, in my opinion.

I don't think this is true of most non Utd or Chelsea fans. I'm surrounded by fans from other clubs and nearly all of them were shocked at the length. Some even getting pretty worked up at the inconsistencies of the FA punishments.

So you're making sweeping generalisations about all Liverpool fans based upon media coverage? Nice.

I reckon there could be a simple explanation for why he's bitten someone twice.

If he's been bullied about his teeth from childhood (which is plausible ), then it's also very possible that players are using this to wind him up on the pitch.

I'm no physiologist - but I reckon there could be some sort of deep-rooted trigger that's made him react like he did instinctively. It's all very odd.

He's a daft ******* so if we get offered top dollar then id sell him. He misses 8-10 games a season through suspension. We need to stop relying on him and develop the rest of the team. If selling him means 3 TOP class players - CB, MID & FWD - then I'd do the deal.

Clearly we cannot afford a repeat of Carroll or we will be bottom half of the table next year.

We simply have no leg to stand on to complain about this and one person put us in that position through being an utter knob. What he did was disgusting and totally needless. Simple as.

If it won't ? Realistically, think about who we'll buy/attract based on our purchases of late, they are not in Suarez's class, we need to buy well and keep Suarez if we're to have any sort of chance at all. imo, and even then as i say buying players seems to be a lottery..

This club needs to get a move on quick sharpish, or we really will become a long term mid table team, selling out best player will not help imo..

What a start to my day at work. The woman I sit opposite who has no interest whatsoever in football goes on about how Suarez should get a life ban from football. What utter bollocks. Luckily someone has come in or I would have torn her a new one

Nick Clegg apperently just said the 10 games was justified.
