In my head I'm now imagining you work with Slinky and that that girl is "dilemma girl", and slinky is just gormlessly sat there grinning and nodding along to everything she says whilst touching himself under his deskOriginally posted by Sarb View PostStill raging at the woman sitting opposite for her ridiculous Suarez rant. I almost spat my drink out all over her, reading that.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostIn my head I'm now imagining you work with Slinky and that that girl is "dilemma girl", and slinky is just gormlessly sat there grinning and nodding along to everything she says whilst touching himself under his desk

Where is Slinky anyway. I saw him appear on this thread last night. Has he saved up enough money to ask her on a date yet, or has another excuse come up?

Rafa did it once, his so called rant.
We aren't exactly good at PR either so we would most probably mess it up.Originally posted by Arn View PostCan you see Rodgers standing up against Fergie?
I don't.
I don't call him chicken or something like that. He is simply not a big enough name. Not his fault. He is simply a rookie in the game.Originally posted by Arn View PostRafa will always fight DBF all the way. Mourinho will do it next season.
They won't care what the media say about it. If they they need to fight DBF then they will do it because they know that they must do it.
If we as a club want to get back to the top again then our manager must be able to stand up against DBF. It is a must, not a maybe.Seriously Arn, can we discuss Suarez, what he did and the backlash without somehow bringing it back to Rodgers. Again. And again.Originally posted by Arn View PostMourinho will stand up against DBF without any doubt at all and he will win the war this time.
I mean, my only surprise is you haven't mentioned Ancelotti yezzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Agreed - it's infuriating.Originally posted by Fivex View PostMy understanding is they're independent of both Liverpool and Chelsea in the sense that they've never been employed by either and not a fan. That doesn't mean they're genuinely independent though. They could be Mancs, the ex player might have something against the club from his playing days, the barrister could be a Daily Mail reading xenophobe, **** knows. It's obvious that they are influenced by both the FA and the media though rather than taking the case in isolation.

They do if the FA warned the player about his future behaviour (which they did to Suarez after the Evra case)Originally posted by Gibbo View PostA red card is a red card, if someone gets sent off serves their suspension and comes back and gets sent off again they still do 3 games.
Previous incidents (One in a completely different league!) shouldn't even come into account.
That warning wasnt just confined to further "racial" comments it was broad and encompassing - "future behaviour" is a large umbrella
My biggest problem isnt the length of the ban its the inconsistencies in the punishments
Its time for the FA to set guidelines on punishments that are actually adhered to and not just punishments that are arbitrary
Punishments should be laid out accordingly and should be given out even if a referee gives a yellow card / or red
The whole thing is chaotic at best as it stands and is totally open to ridiculeBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Do they (did they) do that for anyone else though?Originally posted by Lecter View PostThey do if the FA warned the player about his future behaviour (which they did to Suarez after the Evra case)

If not then it's clear discrimination.

They dont need a loopholeOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostIt'd be lovely
but I'm not holding my breath.
They'll find a loophole or change the rules overnight to suit.
Suarez was warned about his future behaviour
This misdemeanor is covered under "future behaviour" and is why they have thrown the book at himBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

And to top that off, they'll warn you not to appeal and increase the ban if you do. This is so piss poor governance that it's laughable. It should me more open, rules based, precedence based and treat everyone equally and offer the right to appeal to another body.Originally posted by Sarb View PostGraham Bean thinks the ban is 10 games because LFC/Suarez dared indicate that 3 games was enough. WTF. So if you don't agree with the FA they will just ban you for more games for the sake of it? What a total complete bunch of idiots.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
