I imagine many of us are in the same boat - if there was a button we could press to turn football off, we would. I would anyway. Problem is it's in me, and has been for as long as I can remember. I can't just suddenly banish it from my life. Not gonna happen. This season I've watched precious little football, other than us of course. Where once I would've sat down to watch any old football match on TV, 'm not really arsed about any other football any more, bar LFC and the business end of the CL. The rest is ****e, the game is a predictable and uncompetitive sham - a closed shop run by incompetent and maybe even corrupt, bigoted old men.

I'll also add I've turned away from Football since 2010 and have been very distant from it. I rarely speak to other fans of other teams about football as it is so Sky/Media Driven drivel. If I meet someone new I never bring up that I follow football nor ask if they follow it. Talking with Close mates is one thing, but the older I get the less relevant it has become and quite frankly it is the last thing we conversate about now.
