He definitely does seem to be indulged by all of Uruguay which probably means he lives his life - to some extent - in some kind of bubble.

I couldn't give a **** if he bit him. And I'm struggling to understand why anyone in the UK cares either. Liverpool fan or not. There are many worse things that happen in football matches.Originally posted by fah-q View PostAfter all the years of sticking up for him against other fans, etc it feels (pardon the pun) like a kick in the teeth.
I don't want rid but it feels really weird to be on the receiving end of it (particularly as they scored so soon after the incident) It's an insight for me as to how other fans get so worked up over him made all the more worse by some of their players (and our fans it has to be said) seeming to either somehow blame Chiellini for it or act like it didn't happen.
Gutting all round.

There would be less uproar if Suarez had punched someone square in the face.
I know what I'd rather be on the end of.
Keane's pre-meditated knee-high leg breaker on Haaland? Snapped his leg - "take that you cunt" - much less uproar and 'outrage' than this.
I'm not condoning it - it's crazy and the fact he's done it now three times is bat**** mental and he clearly has a problem. But I'd rather be on the end of a Suarez bite than a punch or elbow to the face, a headbutt or a leg breaker. Every time. Many worse things happen on a football pitch than biting - but not much more unusual.
Yup Keane was a scumbag. Dirty violent premeditated leg breaking challenges and he is on punditry teams. Shearer employed by the BBC and calling for long bans - hardly the most innocent of people given his boot to the face of Lennon.
The bite is so shocking so different that it is causing uproar. We see **** tackles and elbows every week call the player clumsy of naughty then move on as if noyhing happened.
Barton ssud exactly the same thing on twitter. A bite or a leg breaker - I know what Id rather receiveFootball without Origi is nothing

But there is not that many things happening that could have a bigger impact on LFC. That's why I care.Originally posted by captainfog View PostI couldn't give a **** if he bit him. It's obvious why he bites... have you seen those gnashers?
On a more serious note I can see a 2 year international FIFA ban, a season's ban in European club competitions and something like a domestic league 20 match ban.
That gives the club a major problem.
Do they keep him and hope the team doesn't miss him too much for over half a league season or do they cut their losses and sell him for a price a LOT lower (maybe £30 million) than it would have been a few days ago?
Very tricky

That would be absolutely outrageous. I couldn't complain if he got a 15-20 game ban from international football. That would effectively ban him for years.
Any ban from club football would be a ****ing outrage. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

The ultimate irony here is the levels of sanctimony from the tabloid press when Louis is realistically mana from heaven for them. In an ailing industry when Hodgsons England have totally stunk out the tournament the press really could not have asked for a better story to help them sell some papers...
Louis is a PR nightmare for LFC, but he is Box Office for the press.
The biggest losers here are LFC, and us as supporters. We are the ones who try to stick up for him. These actions are indefensible and he surely truly does need some help.Modifying post.

Are you saying I shouldn't care that it happened?
