I'd love Taylor to come out with that. 'Ah, it's acceptable in American and he's an American comedian'. Hypocrites of the highest order. They made an example of Suarez and labelled him a racist, when quite frankly he isn't

This FOREVER. Language, especially context, is not an area for a bunch of biased clowns in suits who want to make the newspaper. FIFA, UEFA, THE FA-- none of them are serious. "negrito" in the Uruguayan context is wrong but an African American comedian calling Luis/ Ivanovich the "N" word is ok. To be fair, if any of these guys played in the NBA or NFL, this would be laughable.Originally posted by Arn View PostThe FA don't really know what racism is. They live in their own fantasy world and not in the real world.
In the real world Suarez isn't even close to be a racist but in the fantasy FA world he is.
They make racism decisions not knowing what it really is.
Every racism case should go straight to court. If they are guilty then they should also get a massive ban.
FA shouldn't decide on their own a single case that they aren't qualified to make decisions on.

I read that last paragraph to mean 'wishful thinking, loaded with sarcasm'.Originally posted by Sarb View PostYeah. The middle part of the article was okay. But when he started making excuses for it, he just turned into the normal hypocritical journalist. I suspect Martin Samuel will be having a field day on thisOh I don't know.

He's Rory Smith, so quite often a tongue firmly in cheek.Originally posted by Sarb View PostMaybe it's just me. He's pretty hard to decipher as to whether he's being serious or sarcastic

See this para earlier:
A cursory journey down what was once known as the information superhighway would have told them that Hunter is not averse to using what might be termed racial language. Hunter and the N-word are not strangers, put it that way. It has to be assumed that the PFA knew exactly what it was getting. Otherwise, it would have to be characterised as a gaggle of out-of-touch buffoons, and that seems distinctly unlikely.Oh I don't know.

So TIA asked the FA if Suarez was eligible to play for the U21s.
The FA @FA
@thisisanfield Hi. He can't play in any competitive fixtures until the ten games have been played. This Is Anfield @thisisanfield
@FA Thanks for reply. Does that mean Under 21 fixtures are classed as "competitive fixtures"?The FA @FA
@thisisanfield Yes. He's banned from domestic competitive matches at any level until the ten first team fixtures have been played. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Maybe the manager could take the blame. The FA would find that convincing..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

just like jo brand banging on about eating cakesOriginally posted by Norbs View PostHe's a **** comic anyway and consistently falls back on his colour to gain laughs.
how good would it have been if, as a protest about the racist nature of the comediens material and ****e jokes, the black players, the kick it out campaigners and anyone else with some balls [non talced] all walked out during the 'comedy' interlude. this would have been a massive statement of what is not acceptable at this level of association with football.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
