BR will have no choice. Club doesn't want to sell him. He wants out. Hope people dont turn this into a Rodgers/Ayre/FSG bashing. They've supported Suarez, as did Kenny. Not their fault he wants to go to Real Madrid.Originally posted by Tee View PostIf the price is right he is gone, simple as that really. Seems to me that BR is prepared to sell him as long as he can use all the funds raised, and as much as we might not like that decision we have got to back him I suppose.
Not aimed at you by the way Tee. Just a general point

I don't understand what your motivation is in regards to wanting Rodgers to fail, and you do clearly want him to.Originally posted by Arn View Post
It isn't only the signings we must get right. FSG must also get in top class people from top to bottom.
I will never understand why we turned down Van Gaal. We must get in someone like him that know how to build up the club from top to bottom. Someone that have connections all over the world.
We don't have that at the moment.
I'm behind him and in difficult times I'd rather have a man with a long term plan than a man with an ego looking to prove himself at a host of different clubs. BR has done nothing wrong in regards to his relationship and support of Suarez. If Suarez isn't happy after having had a storming season and with the introduction of some really exciting talent then that's his loss and his failure, not BRs.
He's a mover, on his way to his 5th club aged 26. Some players are like that and it isn't alway the fault of the club's hierarchy.

Not sure how anyone at the club can really get any flak if Suarez moves on. It's down to him, not anybody else

I cannot imagine hating Suarez, but seeing him get up to his antics in a Madrid shirt is going to boil my piss.
Surprised Madrid have courted another controversial figure tbh, especially after just getting rid of Mourinho and trying to get their image back on track.

Apparently Suarez moved into Torres' place originally but later moved. That pad has been on the market for over a year by all accounts.Originally posted by Chris View Post

This about sums it up.Originally posted by cream View PostBye Luis, you were great for us last season but somebody else will come along. Laters.
Madness and greatness in equal measure whilst playing for us but as always there'll be someone else whom we can acclaim and claim to be one of our own.
Now who's first to start a 'Luis at Madrid' thread in the General Football forum?
