The bright lights of LondonOriginally posted by Sarb View PostShe is going to get some serious **** when he leaves I bet
The Times does not make very good reading. Early extracts are he seems up for Arsenal move
On a footballing stage they aint that far ahead (yes they've got CL, but will probably flop as per normal). Wages wise i don't think they'd blow us out of the water.
If he wants to go then lets get £50m.We come not to play.

Well the replacement Rodgers had earmarked has buggered off to Dortmund, i wonder who's choice number 2 in door number 2.We come not to play.

If we buy a replacement before he goes then we will need to sell and the asking price reduces.
We are in the driving seat here it's £50m minimum or **** off.
Let's remember that he can't play until the end of Sept anyway, if he is still here when the window closes there is plenty of time for him to be talked round for another season.

Henrikh wasnt a replacement for Suarez. We had been scouting him for months even before the bite. Bascombe who knows his stuff it seems wrote this morning that LFC owners are loathe to sell Suarez. And I tend to believe himOriginally posted by Imy View Post

What a dilemma. I don't want anyone at this club who doesn't want to be here, no matter how good.
BUT.
Lose Suarez and I genuinely can't see us making the top 4. He's a genius. Who the hell can we sign who's even close to being as good as him?
I don't see many players out there who I really want at the club, even if we were considered a big pull. When you take into consideration we are getting turned down because of a lack of CL by any top class player it makes it even more difficult.
Catch 22. To make the CL we need top players. To get top players we need to be in the CL.
We've done some nice early business, but as it stands we look to be losing Carra and Suarez from the first team and potentially replacing them with inferior players. Massive job on for Brendan & the rest.
Long way to go, as it stands we look like we have a slightly better squad. But we need Luis out ASAP to get a replacement in tbh.Forwards.......

Bascombe has been and possibly still is a LFC mouth piece, putting forward the propaganda that the club feed him.Originally posted by Sarb View PostHenrikh wasnt a replacement for Suarez. Henrikh was by all accounts THE priority, It sounded like we were going to fund that deal through the sale of Suarez.
I think he'll be gone by the end of the summer. We come not to play.

I dont believe it was sell to buy. He was the main target and spent weeks negotiating for him. Wouldnt go for that level of player if never had the moneyOriginally posted by Imy View PostBascombe has been and possibly still is a LFC mouth piece, putting forward the propaganda that the club feed him.

I doubt that very much. He isn't that type of player. I have never seen him not working his socks off in a game. He hate to lose to much.Originally posted by Sarb View PostThen Suarez will kick off. I think he is going to do stuff aimed at making his position here untennable (**** the spelling)
If someone asked what winning mentality is then I would answer Luis Suarez.Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a
