I suspect we'll hear no news and then when we are two weeks from the transfer window deadline the offers will come in thick and fast.

All will be clearer when he joins up with the team for pre-season. He will be in the spotlight and there will be no more room to misinterpret him.

That's the next stage in the saga.

Suarez' mind will be made up for him when 'You know what you are' is sung by the Liverpool fans.

He will never hear that from reds, never.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Did I see my name mentioned?

I'll never sing that to Suarez. If he goes, he goes. Don't really get into that slating players of the opposition (much easier to slate Downing though )

Think the club are playing it brilliantly though. The ball is firmly back in his court. Real Madrid are a joke of a club. Go round making comments that they'll bid £80m for Bale, but only value Suarez at £25m, but Higuain (who is surplus to requirements) is worth 40m Euros. Plus spend 35m Euros on some midfielder who isn't even an international. They need to do one

Think Ayre and Rodgers are coming out of this saga pretty well so far. I thought the Suarez ad was brilliant though. It brought a tear to my eye when he kissed his finger and wrist. Rat

I think a lot of this has been driven by the Press. They don't like Suarez after the biting incident and try are trying to put enough crap out there to unsettle player and club and therefore engineer a move.

It's interesting how since the whole Rooney thing has come alive, the Press have been quiet about Suarez as they can smell blood and have something else to focus on.

I don't believe Suarez will move or wants to move - yet. Should we will fail to qualify for CL next season then I think he'll go but for now I think he'll give us one more season.
                      Nowt wrong with lurking!

Suarez wants a move. Pretty clear from comments by Ayre and Rodgers that he's informed them of that intention too. Whether he's 100% determined to move is another quesiton. Doesn't appear to be interest outside of this country for him, so it is debateable whether he will move or wait another season

Didn't Ayre specifically say in that interview the other day that Suarez had NOT mentioned his desire to leave to him?

Edit: I can't find that quote so perhaps I imagined it

A buying club would be taking a huge risk.

Also anyone take note of arsenals results from February onwards? Pretty impressive. Plus the only top team that has retained their manager. They could hit the ground running and challenge this year. Utd, city and Chelsea have to gel yet.
Why would he be banned in another country?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                              Are we winning?

He is. His ban is applicable even if he leaves the country and goes to Madrid for example
