I don't think it is that tbh. I think people are just extremely inpatient. It is hardly like we are at the end of the transfer window. People just seem to have decided that because we missed one target we are floundering, which is silly at best. We missed out on targets when we where the best club in the country.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostI think for some it's a realisation that we aren't as big a draw any more. That's quite a blow.

It was worth posting again anyway.
Infact, i think i'll send it to Paddy Power, it's just up their street, and will be on a london billboard outside the Emirates faster than we can say.....'Smokinnnnn!
Hopefully along side the Wenger spliff/jh tweet one.

Just because the highly skilled members of the press, and none of the ITKs on twitter have mentioned any alternative targets, it doesn't mean we haven't. It could easily mean that we're doing things behind closed doors and we're not letting on - you know, the old-style Liverpool way.Originally posted by Sarb View PostWe don't appear to have a back-up plan I think he means. We're supposed to have 2 or 3 targets for each position, but that doesn't seem the case. Just appear to be drifting now, waiting for something to be sorted on Suarez.

Not being linked with any player of note to fill the No.10 position we were desperate for and we just seem to be fending off stories on Suarez all the timeOriginally posted by RedReet View PostDon't know why people are calling out for a new No.10. I doubt we'll find a better one than Coutinho. I'd be happier if we got a quality wide attacker.Originally posted by Sarb View PostWell looking at the increasing speculation around Soldado, we might have ditched the idea of signing a No.10. I think Coutinho could definitely play that role anywayOriginally posted by SarbI think Coutinho could take the No.10 position, Sturridge, Aspas and another striker (Soldado maybe), could fill the front 3 positions, if Suarez goes
I think the club may have decided to play Coutinho at No.10
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
