We may let Suarez speak to Arsenal (because we are obligated to do so) but unless Arsenal meet our valuation I have no idea what they are going to talk about.
Whinger - 'So, how's the family?'
Suarez - 'Good, yours?'
Whinger - 'Good. Some summer we're having'
Suarez - 'It's a little too hot for my taste'

Didn't Rodgers say last night, it doesn't even allow them to talk? I suspect it's a case of informing him, but telling him the bid wasn't high enough so he can't speak to them. That's why the ball is apparently back in his court nowOriginally posted by spider-neil View PostWe may let Suarez speak to Arsenal (because we are obligated to do so) but unless Arsenal meet our valuation I have no idea what they are going to talk about.

Suarez looking so happy last year signing his new contract with his daughter in his lap seems so long ago now.
What changed since then? I know we never made top 4 but when he signed we didn't look like we would, and we have seen so much progress since January. Really disappointed in his lack of faith.

Irony right there, from someone who is often critical of the current regime.Originally posted by Tee View PostSuarez looking so happy last year signing his new contract with his daughter in his lap seems so long ago now.

Oh I don't know.

I would never take my support of the club away though. Not even comparable Dom, poor effort mate, but keep trying. One day you might achieve your mission.Originally posted by dom9 View PostIrony right there, from someone who is often critical of the current regime.

I'm sure someone on the behalf of Arsenal is going to tell Suarez to try and force his way out to drive the price down.Originally posted by Sarb View PostDidn't Rodgers say last night, it doesn't even allow them to talk? Ah come on, I was only having a laugh. There's certainly no mission.Originally posted by Tee View PostI would never take my support of the club away though. Not even comparable Dom, poor effort mate, but keep trying. One day you might achieve your mission.
It does illustrate something pertinent though. We as fans have an emotional investment in the club. Players, as employees often don't. Why should they? It's a job. I know you think it's irrelevant, but actually, it is relevant.
If you get disillusioned, then of course some of players will feel the same. Without the emotional attachment (a la Gerrard), then why should we expect the players to stay if they get a better offer elsewhere?Oh I don't know.

There were rumours he was. Attended a few games as well. Pretty sure Suarez will have a copy of his contract so won't need Dein or anyone else helping them out.Originally posted by Tee View Post
Wasn't he an advisor to FSG? Wouldn't surprise me if he was shown some confidential info, assuming he was an advisor.
Suarez has probably sent it to a load of clubs with his CV hoping to get a move. Had plenty of time since he bit Ivanovic
