Article after article is about that Suarez will force a move. That makes him look bad and that make it easier for the club to sell him.Originally posted by Sarb View PostAm I missing something? How is it making Suarez look bad. Isnt it just making the club look totally stupid and then unfair at not letting him go. No benefit in club leaking details of his contract clause.
Many supporters just a few days ago said that we shouldn't sell him to Arsenal and many of them are now saying that they don't care, just get rid of him.Stop the cyberhate

No, it is making Suarez look like a player who habitually tries to force his way out of contracts through legal channels because he can't get what he wants in the normal way the world operates.Originally posted by Sarb View PostAm I missing something? It makes the club look like it wants the asset it has supported show loyalty to the terms of its contract and the fact that Suarez may have to consider taking the club to arbitration to get it shows that the club are strong-willed and will not bend over for anyone.
Club looks ace in all of this, in my mindFootball without Origi is nothing

Did you miss the way he left Groningen? He's actually getting off very lightly.Originally posted by Arn View PostArticle after article is about that Suarez will force a move. That makes him look bad and that make it easier for the club to sell him.

I get that Dave. But it all falls down at the point when the agent usually comes out and says his player has no intention of leaving. They havent. Silence speaks volumes. I seriously do not believe it is the club leaking it
And I know you think the quotes are misrepresented, but his interviews in Uruguay are quite substancial evidence of him wanting out tooLast edited by Sarb; 25-07-13, 11:13 PM.

Sigh - we need to be back at the top so **** like this doesn't happen any more & we need more home grown players who (fingers crossed) have more loyalty to the club.
I've gave Luis the benefit of the doubt when this first started but if he wanted the rumours to stop he could end it pretty quickly - if he wants to go to the Arse I take that as a slap in the face to the fans who supported him.
I'm hating football at the moment!

Things didn’t get any better in the summer of 2007. Despite earlier claims of the Uruguayan he would be staying at Groningen, interest of Ajax turned his head. With FC Groningen unwilling to let their main asset go and Ajax winking seductively to the Uruguayan, Suárez and his agent took matter in their own hands.
They filed a lawsuit against FC Groningen, stating a transfer to Ajax would mean both sporting and financial improvement. The lawsuit was lost, but the damage was done. Luis Suárez had made himself intolerable to the FC Groningen-crowd. An €8 million fee + add ons saw Suárez move to Ajax the same day the verdict of the lawsuit had been spoken out. “Good riddance,” was the opinion of most FC Groningen-fans.

Just another proof that the club shouldn't really be surprised and moan because the player behaved like this before at other clubs.Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostThings didn’t get any better in the summer of 2007. Many of us said that when we signed him and said the same thing when we signed Diouf.
We wanted to sign HM that acted in a bad way to force a move.
Players will force a move to join us and others will force a move away from the club.Stop the cyberhate

He's always been a mercenary cunt, this should come as no surprise
What IS a surprise though, is that he'd follow that same to go a team that isn't a marked improvement on the one he's at now
Groningen to Ajax was obviously a huge step, and Ajax to us, whilst not nearly as massive, was a definite increase in club stature
Arsenal just doesn't seem like it's enough for the hassleI saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

i honestly dont believe this arsenal foreplay is at all serious and its just to get real madrid jealous, so they can come and step in and show him how a dirty diving racist cannibal judas really should be loved.
al this fannying about... i bet he has got a wall planner with the latest 'to do' incident in red highlighter...
do some blatant diving to raise profile and wind up press. done.
create racist incident with that cunt evra. done.
dont shake that cunts hand. done.
blab about the pressure of the press. done.
bite someone at high profile match, preferably in goal area so there are ten cameras. done.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I think you might find someone (Shaggy) has just a tiny amount of form for that sort of behaviour
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
