If he wants to be moany and sulky while he gets on with it I don't care. As long as he puts in a shift on the pitch while he's waiting for his move that's all that matters, and I don't believe he's capable of anything less.

the flip side to this is that players are protected by the same contracts when they're injured or playing poorly. Imagine rodgers saying to suarez "sorry son you were **** today. im docking you seventy grand out of your wage packet".Originally posted by G View PostWho cares if he's sulking, really. contracts work both ways to protect the players and to protect the club.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

I just took a look at the training session photos up for viewing on the official site. Guess what? There's not a smile on almost any of our players' faces. They are at work. Deep in concentration and putting in some hard graft. If we were to take these photos and slap a "Glum Gerrard", "Sour Skrtel" or "Listless Lucas" in the headline, we could make a case that the entire team wanted a move.

Modern day cameras are taking 20+ photos a second. It is easy for the gutter press photographers to hold the button down. You are garenteed to get a nice smiley shot at same time and likewise some downright miserable shots. The gutter press just take the split second shot that fits there agendaOriginally posted by leftpeg View PostI just took a look at the training session photos up for viewing on the official site. Yep, it's ****ing stupid, even more stupid is some of our "supporters" hammering him for stuff like that, supposedly not attending a dinner, not smiling while the camera was on him during friendlies etc. Pathetic.Originally posted by leftpeg View PostI just took a look at the training session photos up for viewing on the official site.
