So Evra looking straight into the camera with a little smile isn't evidence? Suarez holding his hand in the same position the whole time isn't evidence?
Evra didn't held his hand in the same position isn't evidence?

It makes me want to throw up watching the smile on his face straight after Suarez walked past him.

Evra played him like a fiddle and pardon the pun but Suarez bit.

I agree with Arn. The club probably told Suarez to shake Evra's hand. Luis offered the hand and Evra pulls away slightly, Suarez probably thinks "**** him". After the ****storm caused by Evra and Ferguson I don't blame Suarez for not wanting to shake Evra's hand and not making more effort under the circumstances.

The way i see it regardless of all the **** Suarez has pulled which clearly you seem to trying to not focus on... any player that does not want to play for LFC.. good luck to ya. It's pretty much as simple as that for me

No player is bigger than the club, they are going to do what is in their best interests.. loyalty goes out the window for most. I'd rather focus on what is best for LFC than what is best for Luis Suarez

Well then if you were consistent, then that’s fair enough, I know not everyone has been.

And it’s pretty simple for me too, I want him to stay. Even if he doesn’t, I’ll wish him well and hope we get the best price for him. I won’t start suddenly hating him, abusing him and revising all the previous acts I didn’t condemn at the time and change my opinion now he may be leaving.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Just like Evra wanted IMO. Suarez had nothing to gain by not shaking Evra's hand. Evra the opposite by playing the victim card.

After that happened Suarez was a racist and Evra the victim. That incident decided it all in many peoples eyes IMO.

Suarez hand was there, in the same position. Evra's wasn't and straight away he played out the victim card. Suarez didn't had any time at all to do react.

You know what you are doing when you make a two footed tackle and you know what you are doing when you bite someone.

It isn't football making a two footed tackle. It isn't football biting someone.

Tackles is a part of the game but not two footed ones.
2-footed tackles were an everyday part of football for a hundred years. Changes in the laws of the game have outlawed them, however there is still an issue of interpretation and context due to the simple physics that take place when a player sticks their foot/feet out while running to challenge for a football; the issue really being players being out of control when they tackle and so risking injury. A good example would be Shelvey's sending off against United at Anfield last year which many people thought was quite harsh. He was obviously just trying to win the ball but the ref felt it contravened the laws enough to send him off.

Biting has never been allowed in football. You are not trying to win the ball when you bite someone. The potential for injury is irrelevant (though btw, biting can transfer bodily fluids thus is seriously dangerous in certain circumstances), biting is not even allowed in boxing or mma where punching people repeatedly in the head to knock them out is the aim of the game. The intent of a two footed tackle is to win the ball, the player just being a bit too reckless. The intent of a bite is to bite. No ifs, buts or maybes. Doesn't mean Luis should have been hung, drawn and quartered for it, personally I would have said a 5 game ban (3 for a red plus 2 for being a ****) would have been about right, but trying to justify it in relation to the normal process of a football match is just silly.

Sarb, I see you agree with MrM's post, does that indicate a convenient change in your stance, to perhaps be less contradictory?
Can we all not just agree then that John Cross is a c*nt and move on?

Personally I'm tired of the old arguments, all I'm interested in now is whether he's going or staying. If he stays he'll get my full support and if he doesn't then we move on.

Could be for the best. For the record, I have never met him so I don't know for sure.
                          Oh I don't know.
