What I care about is if a player/manager give 100% week in week out. If he then ****s off then so be it. The club will survive and sign up a new player/manager.

If you don't have a very big ego then you won't survive at the top.
Arn I haven't read what you're posting, but please take a few breathes, back away from the keyboard and let things settle for a while. You're posting at such a frequent rate that even if you post anything with sense, its going to be ignored by all due to the constant barrage of posts. Come back tomorrow.

I'm trying to be helpful mate, you do post stuff that I agree with at times and so do others but it gets lost at times like these.

I think that everyone has a large degree of self interest but that doesn't necessarily mean that it is bad for the club they work/play for. Of course Rafa or Rodgers want to manage at the top of the game just like Suarez wants to play at the top level. But Rafa and Rodgers gave their all for the clubs right up until the point of signing for someone else. I would imagine that Suarez would do the same if he is still here when the window closes (which admittedly is looking less and less likely), this is of course a World Cup year so he needs to be playing regular football and be playing well.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Alas we're not, and it would essentially be giving him exactly what he (and Arsenal) wants anyway.

The whole thing is a big smelly mess.
That or Assaidi'ing him would be boss. He'll probably get his way eventually, they usually do I just hope we've got enough time to get people in, I do believe the players are out there.

The two incidents I can compare this with (off the top of my head) are Rooney and Tevez. Rooney ended up staying (ignoring what is happening now) and Tevez was heavily fined and also ended up staying. So it is not definite that he will get his way.

But ultimately I agree with you - I think we'll have to end up selling him. Just hope it's not to Arsenal.

The big one for me was Viera to the Mancs. And despite it all is still love a similar ending.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

I think he will stay as no-one is prepared to pay the market value.

If the bite was on purpose its backfired spectacularly as Luis knows, As we all know he is one of the best players in the world yet because he is a Grade A cunt nobody will pay the 50m+ required.

he stays cunt free for a season and his value will go up and maybe more clubs will want to sign him.

Well I don't even remember that one, so it shows that these things don't always have to leave a lasting impression.

                    4. Never sell him to the Gooners FFS
                    5. Arn shut the **** up please. Surely you have something better to do?

All that debating over the various times he let himself/us down seems like a right waste of time now. I even had my mum questioning me about him!!!

And, yes, Arn, I loved Rafa too, but he's gone now - you need to move on. Its hard when you split up with someone, moving on is never easy but its in the past and surely we can all remember the good times. I find Rodgers a bit of a cheese merchant, but he is doing a good job, learning fast, has us playing good footer and has the clubs interests at heart...

It also makes sense why he decided to stay for another season. I'll be interested to know what Rodgers has to say about how the conversation went.

Why are people making out as though Suarez is satan and the club are being totally honest? Both sides are feeding the press too. How do we know the club haven't led him to believe that what he is saying is the truth? Yes, I know you will probably say it's his fault for misinterpreting the conversation incorrectly but I do believe there is some truth in what he is saying. I'm just not convinced we have to sell at £40m.
This deciding to stay for another season thing is a bit OTT really, he'd only been at the club 5 minutes, still had 3 years left on his original contract (with no flipping clause nonsense in it) and had already spent 12 games in that time suspended too. I really don't see how him "deciding to stay" at that point was remotely him doing us a favour. Regardless, as for the rest of your post; I can see your point, but maybe the reason is simply that we all support Liverpool Football Club, not Luis Suarez FC? And people are always going to be better inclined towards those working in the best interests of the club and its future rather than what is coming over as a narcissist player on a serious ego trip.

Also, as pointed out before, we do not have direct evidence that in this case, the club have acted in bad faith in this matter, just these recent statements from someone who is anything but objective in the case. We do have that evidence with regards to that person themselves - several people have posted the directly contradictory statements Luis has made on multiple occasions over the last 12 months.. We KNOW he has been bull****ting us, and we KNOW he is trying to force a move to a club we can consider to be direct rivals of ours for a price below his market value, in a really rather unseemly way. We also know that the club has been highly, even excessively supportive of the guy over the last 2 years. Plus he has direct form for this behaviour before.

So, taking that all into account, if you objectively ask who is the more credible and sympathetic side in this when you consider all that... well it certainly isn't Suarez.

"At the moment the situation is on standby," Wenger said. "I heard that [Suarez may take legal action against Liverpool] but this is sometimes linked with things that you don't know as a potential buyer.

"That is the story between Suarez and Liverpool and I don't know what has been said, what has been promised and what has been written and that is only Suarez and Liverpool that can decide that.

"It's nothing to do with us. We have been told that the player wants to leave Liverpool and that's why we've acted."

Surely this interview is as good as a transfer request anyway?

**** the pfa and gordon taylor for a minute - this statement doesn't actually mean anything other than if suarez asked for pfa help then they would look at the contract for him.

i've seen a few people on twitter go mad thinking that it means the PFA 'support' suarez's claims
