It's probably journalistic bollocks, based on guess work.

Like the club are going to do something that could mean us selling for less then he's worth.

I don't think the club are going to insert a clause to let Suarez go for LESS than what a club like Arsenal were already willing to pay just a few moths ago.

There are so many out there right now, absolutely pissed at LFC fans happiness at this moment in time. Fact.

Good timing before the Jan transfer window opens. Lets hope we can add that wee bit of quality we need to push on in the second half of the season.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Hopefully we can start to attract the type off players that have bypassed us now that Suarez committed to long term.

But the strong bargaining position occupied by Suarez’s representatives – who were negotiating this week for the most prolific striker in Europe and a player Liverpool are desperate not to lose in January – will have allowed them to drive a hard bargain on the level of the get-out clause. They may well have been able to force the figure down from the previous £40m while securing the player his 67 per cent pay rise. Any get-out figure materially lower than £40m would effectively mean that Suarez is destined to leave this summer, if Liverpool fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Shaggy wasn't he DJ's mate and helped you a lot when you had your issues.

We would be mad to agree to a get out clause less than £40m!

          Surely he's taking the piss!
I call bull**** on this one.

Ian Ayre is widely portrayed as an idiot but not even he is that stupid. The "clause" was £40m and he has since improved his level dramatically, there's no chance any new clause is lower. Not that the first clause was worth the paper it was written on either way,as Arsenal found out.

This is excellent news. I wasn't fussed if he left or not in the summer, but he's gone up a notch or two even from last season this year so it's a no brainer to keep him.

Let's hope there's no more silliness from him to come.
His attitude is dependent on our form. I don't necessarily think he has changed his ways but as long as we keep winning there will be no issues. It seems the football world are starting to grasp the fact that he only does these silly things out of determination to win, whereas us Liverpool fans knew this all along. You can clearly see off the pitch the genuinely nice character he is.

News of this deal took us all by complete surprise. It came right right out of nowhere yet I awake this morning to discover a whole raft of journos who are now suddenly privvy to even the tiniest details of the contracts contents. Just hilarious. Embarrassingly hilarious.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

Could you imagine if plan A of pairing Suarez with Torres (subsequent nose dive aside) ever materialised?
                Oh I don't know.

Sadly Kenny felt if you don't want to play for Liverpool you should not be around.

I'm glad FSG didn't feel the same about Suarez.

                      How things change

                      http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footba...torres-2948116

Fernando Torres admits: 'I should have scored more goals for Chelsea'

The player has netted just 17 league goals for the Blues since arriving from Liverpool in 2011 and famously went 24 games without scoring in his first season

Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has admitted he has not scored enough goals since arriving at the club for £50million in 2011.

The player has netted just 41 times in 148 games for the Blues and famously went 24 games without scoring during his first season at Stamford Bridge.

The Spain hitman has admitted he should have found the back of the net more often since his arrival from Liverpool, where he had found goals easy to come by.

He told Sky Sports News: "I am happy with the team and my contribution to it around work.

"But I should have scored more goals and I have to look at myself. Everyone has to look at themselves."

Torres said Chelsea played with a "difficult" style and that it is his job to adapt.

He said he recognised why he was sometimes left out of the starting line-up by Jose Mourinho.

"If you score every week, you play. If not you are going to rotate."

Chelsea face Arsenal in the Premier League at Emirates Stadium on Monday evening.
