Yeah that was madness. He never seemed to have control of the ball until he walloped it. Breathtaking.
      Oh I don't know.

That's an insane shot. Beyond belief insane. Gutted it didn't find the back of the net.

He seems a little bit "of form" right now. Which says it all when it comes to his talent, still had a very good game.

              TBH I don't think it's form I think it's choice.

If he feels he can make more of an impact by dragging defenders out of the way and setting goals up he's happy to leave the scoring to others.

I agree that he probably could get to more chances if he "wanted" to, but as he sees others can score as well he's happy to set up chances. He just haven't got the luck right now, like the volley yesterday.

has not scored for ages, needs a rest. Drop him for Aspas or recall Borini.

can't believe that strike didn't go in - wonderful effort, would have pissed goal of the season, proper gutted he didn't score.

i'm hoping he can get another 10 goals this season - at least 7 in the league - anything above 30 league goals would be brilliant - i'd also suspect that if he can get another 10 goals or so, then chances are we will won than lose and it should see us close to top four.

I reckon he's just trying to get atop the Assists charts too, he's on 8 now I think, 1 behind the leader. Wants to complete the double, lead scorer (wrapped up) and leading assist maker too.

And then, if he doesn't get PoTY, it will prove just what a farce that award really is.

Luis Suarez “loving life at Liverpool” says Edinson Cavani

Luis Suarez is “loving life at Liverpool,” according to his international teammate and close friend Edinson Cavani.

After a fiery summer last year when Suarez believed he was entitled to leave Liverpool since they hadn’t qualified for the Champions League, the Uruguayan international is now having his best season yet for the Reds.

Furthermore, the 27-year-old signed a new long-term contract with the club in December, and seems a happier, more mature figure on the field as Liverpool look to finish in the Premier League’s top four.

Paris Saint-Germain striker Cavani said Suarez is much happier on Merseyside these days.

“I speak with Luis most weeks – and he is loving life at Liverpool,” Cavani is quoted by the Daily Mail.

“When I speak with him now it sounds like a different man to that of last season.

“You can hear it in his voice how happy he is compared to last season. He has always loved Liverpool – things have not always gone well for him in England – and he told me how humbled he was by the way the club and the fans stood by him.”

Cavani and Suarez look set to make an exciting partnership for their country at this year’s Word Cup, where they face England, Costa Rica and Italy in the group stage.

Cavani added that he believed Suarez simply wanted to be at a club with a high ambition when the Liverpool forward tried to force his way out of the club last year.

“When he asked to leave people thought there was an ulterior motive like a financial one – but it was not true. All he wanted was to be at a team which matched his ambition, where he could play Champions League Football, and where he can compete for major trophies,” Cavani added.

“Now Liverpool are in that place he is happy to stay.”
