No offence to us but would Sanchez and Pedro really want to come to us? Neither seem to harbour dreams of playing in England

You've just given me an idea for this year's Halloween costume.Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostI don't think any of Suarez's improprieties were premeditated, but he must be one of if not the most famous footballer in the world right now. With his flaws and his incredible skill he is a huge draw, everyone will want to watch him play wondering whether his next move will be genius or disgrace. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up on the cover of the next FIFA game? That would be funny, they could have an additional biting move for Suarez. Maybe there could be a vampire themed add-on?Oh I don't know.

How on earth do you know that?Originally posted by Norbs View PostNo offence to us but would Sanchez and Pedro really want to come to us? Neither seem to harbour dreams of playing in England
Depends who else is in for them I suppose. It appears they're not surplus to requirements at Barca so maybe we'll be there best offer?

Not sure people hate him just because he handballed and stopped an Africa team from scoringOriginally posted by ChesterDave View PostPeople have hated him since the handball. And you know what - its not because he handled it on the line or celebrated the penalty miss - who ****ing wouldn't? You know what - watch the video. The only reason Luis handled it on the line is because the Uruguayan in front of him missed it with his hands! We see commentators and ex-pros every week on TV saying a player took a booking for hte team to break up an attack and describing a deliberate foul (essentially an act of cheating) as a 'good' foul.
The reason people hate him for the handball is because he stopped an African team qualifying for a World Cup semi final on African soil. That then set the tone for the reactions to his subsequent wrongdoings. Yeah he doesn't help himself but don't recall this level of righteousness surrounding multiple leg breaker Shawcross.
I think the main issue with that handball wasnt the fact that he had actually done it, it was his post penalty celebration on the sidelines
This to me is again another side of the instinctive Suarez. Hes unable to detach himself from emotional reactions
Celebrating that penalty miss in your dressing room or away from the tv screens in the tunnel I can understand but hanging round the tunnel to watch the penalty and then celebrating like a mad man is what I think raised the ire of many fans (including me at the time)Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. Me tooOriginally posted by Gibbo View PostI wouldn't bite someone, but I would do that handball, think most would.
I wouldnt have celebrated like a madman on the sidelines though post penalty
To me when you are sent off your obligation is to leave the field of play and go into the dressing room as soon as possible
Suarez doing what he did by hanging around and subsequently celebrating rubbed a lot of noses in it
I remember at the time not being comfortable with thatBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Will say again it was the post penalty miss reaction rather than the actual handball itself that irkedOriginally posted by ChesterDave View PostYeah - because I said he didnt hand ball it
Look at the video. The other guy tried it but missed. How many players who have deliberately handballed on the line are hated for it as much as Suarez?Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

I am most likely not using right english terms so some have to excuse that. But I'd call it management and/or treatment, not curing. You can manage it, depending on you own insight into the disorder, it's difficult though and I'd say not for everyone to achieve.Originally posted by fah-q View PostDoes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy not work for some personality disorders?
My sister has BPD and has found great success with this type of therapy.
But I have never heard anyone use the term "curing" a personality disorder. I know I'm way off topic but given the amusement I'm causing I have to go on. Here we make distinction between mental illness and a PD and generally we treat both but most say PD's are more difficult.
But, yeah, if you are going to BPD CBT would be first option for most here at least.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Out of interest did you laugh when Mourinho stuck his finger in Villanova's eye?Originally posted by spider-neil View PostThe world's lost it's sense of humour. I laughed when I saw the Ajax bite, laughed when I saw the Chelsea bite and laughed when I saw the latest bite. I think it's hilarious. I was more shocked than amused with the Tyson bite as he took most of Holyfield's ear.

Easily solved.
Get Sanchez and a big wedge of cash for Suarez. Then buy Vidal using some of that wedge of cash.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

The thing is when he retires there will be no regrets from Suarez
Just more chance of making bucket loads of cash on the back of it
