Thanjk you.

It is a forced apology though. Not exactly sincere IMO. Done with an eye on the future. If he had apologised at the time maybe lots of this mess could have been avoided.
And Nope absolutely gutted we are losing one of the best players in the world. But he is a weasel and was definitely time for the club to part ways. That forced apology was pathetic and transparent.
He is still a Liverpool player. This apology has been made in good time before the appeal. Transparent or not, it is about damage limitation. If he doesnt show remorse, he would stand no chance of a reduction in penalty.
I wouldnt be surprised if senior people in Liverpool have told him to make the apology.....but then again as the conspirisists will have it, Barca have told him to apologise. Who knows?
Not impressed with his lare apology on BBC and make a comment that no one player is bigger than the game - then switch to a feature on thrice convicted drug cheat, tax evader, and handballing superstar Maradona

I would think anyone with half a brain would have been telling him to apologise from the final whistle onwards.
