When all is said and done we were in a similar position last year with LS agitating for a move, his advisors doing the same and several clubs interested or linked with him.

The club as a whole managed the situation and the player perfectly even negotiating a contract extension.

I'd expect the club to do exactly the same and manage the situation in the best interests of LFC not LS.

For me our best interests include having LS as a Liverpool player, he's a footballing genius. Flawed, maybe but BR and LFC handled him superbly last season and there is no reason to doubt that this wouldn't be the case going forward with LFC.

We do not have to sell and I'm pretty sure any potential release clause based on a fee will be there to suit the interests of LFC first and foremost.

Without the Chiellini incident would we still be debating Suarez leaving? There wasn't any talk of it prior to the nibble..... Or was there?

I get the feeling we were thinking about selling him before then. Just putting 2+2 together and probably making 80m mind

It's clear that Suarez wants to go to Barca. But he isn't the type to do a Tevez. If for whatever reason he doesn't get his dream move, he'll still give absolutely everything on the pitch for us
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

          Plenty.

          Here's one example from May.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

We held him against his wishes last year, I'd doubt he'd be happy about it again this year. Mind you, the stupid ****er has brought it on himself.
Going to miss him in a red shirt though

Call the OED. Plenty has been redefined as 1.

Hopefully to tell them to either pay £80m or piss off.

70-80 million plus Sanchez would be awesome business to be fair, as amazing as Luis is.

True, but that was understandable. We only had a desultory offer from a team at the same level as we were

He might be a bit dim, and be guilty of listening to the wrong people but he surely understands that he has a price, and if that price isn't met, or close enough to it, then that's not us preventing his dream move?

I think if we've said "You can go for £80m" and then someone offers £80m and we refuse, then he'd have every right to and I'd expect him to royally kick off
