Wasn't he due to have a payrise kick in this season if he stayed?

      3) he always gave his all and was never going to stay at Liverpool for the rest of his career.

For me personally it's less about him stay now and more how we reinvest the money.

He will be a big loss no doubt, its how we mitigate and minimise that loss that matters

        Its rumoured to be £75m

I think the player wants to go, I think FSG have decided its time to let go

I'm not surprised the release clause hasnt been met and equally I'm not surprised we have accepted slightly under that release clause (I said we would do that a few pages back)

I thought it was a rise to £160k last season and then up to £200k this season. I am most certainly off the mark but £200k is the floor so it's a best case scenario. He's on £10m a year so could be saving £40m instead of £30m.

Either way, it's a huge chunk off the wage bill. I wasn't comfortable having such a high earner on the books as it pressurizes the club to follow suit with other players.

A British holidaymaker believed to be high on the party drug Cannibal was arrested on a beach in Magaluf after trying to bite bathers.

Ten policemen were needed to detain the man in Mallorca, who later admitted he had taken 'a load of drugs'.

Disturbing video of the arrest shows the man screaming at police in an animalistic way as he is pinned to the ground by several people after trying to bite multiple bathers on the beach.

I reckon he just tripped and fell into them... multiple times

Now you put it that way that does sound right

                    No chance.

Can't believe anyone thinks these acts are premeditated.

Of course they are, otherwise why are they confined to opponents on the football pitch. Take the latest one, he wasn't attacking the ball, he made a beeline for the man and had plenty of time to change his mind.

Really? Surely I don't need to explain why things happen on a pitch that don't happen on the street? (I honestly don't mean that to sound patronising, even though I know it does.)

Hopefully it's £71m plus merit payments so they give us another £2m when they win the CL assuming we don't

And it would be remiss if we've haven't insisted that he confirms he's asked to go so we wont have to shell out a loyalty payment either.

                            I don't feel patronised

We'll have to agree to disagree as I think he's a manipulative prick rather than a mentally unstable one

imo there is no way the are premeditated - he clearly didn't think at any point during that game "as soon as i get a chance i'll bite someone, as it will help me get out of liverpool"

it's pressure building up/frustration/tiredness god knows what else and at that point a little switch in is head flicks on and he boils over, see's someone and goes for it.

It's not so much an instinctive thing - i'm sure in his moments before, he's thought thats it i dont give a **** i'm biting that cunt - and the second it's done there is a sudden realisations of whats happened.

I'm not a fighter and never been involved in fights off the football pitch - but once, i nutted someone - and it was bizarre....i had this moment of proper just seeing red, i'd lost all thoughts and consciousness and control, and the only thing going through my head in what felt like minutes and minutes but in reality was about 10 seconds was "i'm going to nut that cunt" - and bang i did it and froze - froze so much in shock, that i didn't realise his mate had punched me about 10 times in the head whilst i was standing still in a bite of trance - so fortunatley i didn't feel one of them and about what again felt like minutes but would have been seconds it was all over and i was like WTF just happened there.

that's the sort of thing that' happens with suarez - something clicks and he probably knows he's doing it but doesn't if that makes any sense, everything else has gone out of his head other than the thought that he is going to bite someone
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do
