but I agree with most of it.
and lets be honest if king kenny wants to sign a player and king kenny gets to choose that player and king kenny gets to finally pick that player in a team picked by king kenny then we'll all be happy if that team helps king kenny realise our dreams and bring the big one home again, long live king kenny.

Sing along chaps

We all dream of a team of King Kenny's
A team of King Kenny's
A team of King Kenny's
And No 1 is King Kenny
And No 2 is King Kenny
And No 3 is King Kenny
And No 4 is King Kenny, King Kenny
We all dream of a team of King Kenny's
A team of King Kenny's
A team of King Kenny's

We all dream of a team of King Kenny's
A team of King Kenny's
A team of King Kenny's
And No 9 is King Kenny
And No 10 is King Kenny
And No 11 is King Kenny
And the manager is King Kenny, King Kenny
We all dream of a team of King Kenny's
A team of King Kenny's

A lot of people were proved wrong by Kenny and some of our current squad members which people considered not good enough (me included)Originally posted by CJ View Posthopefully us moaners are wrong.
Maybe many of us should hold our fire before passing judgement now
There are players we have been linked with that I'm not enthused with and there are players we are linked with that I'd wish we would down right avoid but after what Kenny did to the likes of Spearing & Maxi etc.. I'm prepared to sit back and see what he can do with these new signings before calling for a firing squadBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. As long as King Kenny get that chance then we should all be happy. That is what we all wanted a long time.
Our manager getting the chance to build the squad the way he want. A lot of people moan about if it is right to sign Henderson for £16m+. I don't care. If King Kenny want to pay that much then I'm happy that we do it. Then he will get a player he want. A player he believes will strengthen the squad.
I don't care how much we pay for our players. Not even a little bit, as long as the manager want him then that is good enough for me.
I dreamt that Rafa would get that chance. A lot of us did. Now King Kenny get that chance.
I'm just very very happy about our situation and the chance King Kenny now get to build a title winning squad.
I believe that we will win #19 very very soon with King Kenny as our manager. Maybe not the coming season but we will certainly put in a very good fight.
King Kenny and FSG feels like a great combination.
No moaning before any actual signings that people don't like. Just rumours at this point. I have faith in Kenny, Comolli and FSG.

my concern, tho not moaning is, for example today we are linked with
Henderson - £16m to £20m
and
Jones - £16m
over £30m on too young lads who whilst they may have loads of potential, have done nothing yet. It just seems an awful lot of money on two youngsters
i think, if we were signing them for say £10m each everyone would be more excited rather than cautious.
However, the issue we have is - i'm not convinced we can attract the aguero's, mata's and hazards of the world
and we are depserate to sign some quality to improve the squad, which means other clubs know this and we will end up playing over the odds - plus other teams such as mancs/arse/city/chelsea who maybe aren't as desperate for the players, but will prob be happy to be a bidding war to rise the price up. eg
jones - at £10m, you will prob have all the clubs interested, at £15m a couple pull out and now as it rises it looks like it's between us and united. But the others for that price aren't interested. because they probably feel for that amount, with the attraction of champions league, they can attract other playersi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Somewhere at the back of my mind is the nagging doubt that Kenny isn't the right man for the job and that another manager might spend this money more effectively. Unpleasant thoughts. But mainly I feel optimistic akin to Arn's first post.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

The best point in this whole thread. Our best teams of late have been Rafa's team of spaniards. Because Spain hold the world cup, the European Championship Cup and their top club holds the Champions League trophy. Therefore the best players at the moment are Spanish.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostI just don't have much faith in young English players to be honest. England never win anything.
I know that we now have to have a certain amount of english/home grown players but my personal opinion is that Kenny is taking it a bit too far and is paying way over the odds for players just to fill a quota. Someone argued that when LFC were winning leagues and cups for fun we had nearly all british players....trouble is, so did most clubs in england so we won because our players were the best - their nationality wasn't relevant.
England have reached just won major final in their 140 year+ history. And that was with the advantage of home soil. And some dodgy refereeing. Quite why anyone therefore thinks that filling a team with english players is the way forward is beyond me as it is surely a recipe to avoid winning things!?
